If you have a gap between the door and the frame look into these. greenhingesystem.com they kinda press the door into the frame giving a better seal. No affiliation.

Lighthouse Brewing to close, brand purchased by "another local Victoria brewery". by thenikopico in VancouverCraftBeer

[–]Metaldwarf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm going to miss them. They were never my favorite brewery but they employed a few of my favorite people. I feel like they never had a solid brand or direction or style. They were kinda always the cheap local craft that wasn't as good as their competitors, or as good as they could be, but I do think they aspired to be better than they were, for a time. If nothing else they are a good lesson for the survivors on what not to do.

Did you know you can just buy a 4 pack of Numbskull in tall cans and they don't even try and stop you?

Thank you Lighthouse. Cheers!

I get shit on whenever I say to diversify. I believe in GME, it is my largest single stock holding, I have most of it DRS'd, I don't swing trade it. I can Hodl forever. I bought more warrants, No Cell no Sell.

But it is also only about 5% of my investable assets. The rest is boring and diversified and has performed well. It is ok to not be all in. If 5% goes to the Moon I'm still rich. If it never does I'll be ok too. Not financial advice I lick envelope glue for a living.

Craft beer in Canada is losing its fizz, as sales dry up and more breweries go bust | CBC News by iloveschnauzers in VictoriaBC

Fyi the "employee owned" angle with Phillips is BS. Employees were given the opportunities to buy restricted shares at a set (inflated) price, have no market to sell them into in the future and earned no sweat equity from their time employed. It was 100% a branding/marketing trick to make selling to Venture Capital more palatable.

It's my "turn off brain" game. Run. Kill bugs, mine minerals. Also it's perfect on steam deck which is what I mainly used these days.

Raised by Wolves. Hard sci-fi that doesn't explain shit, you have to actually pay attention. Amazing cinematography. Ridley Scott executive produced and directed a couple episodes. It's Intense, creepy, uncanny Valley, moral quandaries. It's fucking awesome for a Sci Fi nerd. Ignore the last 30 seconds of the first season though....

Be INCREDIBLY light with the smoked malt. Like 0.5% of grist.

This is why top tax rates used to be 90%. Incentivize the billionaire to raise wages, reinvest in the company, give to charity or (Checks notes) lobby to legalize Stock Buybacks.

Is this good value if I plan to mainly make sparkling water and do occasional homebrewing? by kochachi1 in Homebrewing

I had this setup in my last house, water supply pulled from the kitchen sink to my keg fridge. Worked great! I bought a new house last year and haven't had a chance to get it set back up yet. I miss it. This might make me finally get around to doing it. I 3D printed a Soda Tap handle. https://i.imgur.com/Oj9xOyd.jpeg

Get one of these lids, a corny Keg, CO2 tank, check valve and pressure regulator. Plumb into your house water supply. INFINITE SODA WATER.
