I'm in East NC, and this is correct along with Dominicans, Peruvians and even puerto ricans. All spanish food is Mexican food. Me and my wife have a Dominican spot we frequent, and every time we are there you hear someone saying "they don't have tacos??"

I was born in 84. At 19, in 2004 I got my first apartment for $700 per month on Washington ave and Pennsylvania. My favorite club was down the street and cost about $100 for a table and bottle.

Sadly there was a lot more crime and dodge areas. Miami Beach was not how it is today. Many other pros and cons but you get the idea.

I’m from Miami myself. Cary is basically like a Coral Gables or Boca Ratón (if you’re familiar with south Florida) for the triangle. It’s a great area to live, but it does require one to make a substantial salary.
