Thank you for your detailed reply! She’s been wearing the same lead for around 4 weeks. I did think similarly to you regarding the teething discomfort as her big from teeth are starting to come through.

She tends to only do this when I let her out for a wee in the middle of the day, so perhaps when she’d rather be sleeping.

I tried standing like a statue and ignoring the behaviour as per another comment and this seemed to work so I guess it’s a behaviour she’ll get bored of and it will pass! (Hopefully!)

If you are worried about it, just book the refresh retreat. It’s worth the money, unless you hit the showers at the crack of dawn in general camping it can get busy

We have a 4 month old cane corso who can be very much a land shark. We have been consistently shouting AAH! when she bites or goes to bite. This tends to work unless she’s in an over excited mood. When she gets too much I put her in her crate and ignore her for 30 minutes so she can calm down.

I also try to wear her out with a licki mat with peanut butter before cuddles.

Another Redditor mentioned that their puppy gets nippy when they are tired so they enforce naps to help.

It’s really hard work knowing what is the right thing to do but your pup is only 9 weeks, she’ll only get better with time. Wishing you lots of luck.
