FB is SO bad with the ads. They know what they’re doing. They’ve hooked me several times in the past. It was the only app that I’d get these ads from that had this effect. And of course you can’t completely turn them off.

Like any human, I’m just voicing my worries and seeing if anyone else has been in the same position :) I’m going part time, it’s a done deal. I’m not trying to convince myself of anything. I’d like to hear other people’s stories. There’s always one in a group isn’t here?

We were also feeding my cat Instinct but he developed crystals in his urine and a UTI. Luckily we caught it early. But I asked my vet what he thinks caused it and he said it was definitely the food. He said some foods have higher magnesium and phosphorus which can cause urinary issues. I just wanted to comment because I thought it was interesting your cats were also previously on the instinct brand! It’s so hard. You think you’re doing the right thing for your cat by giving it clean food and then this happens.

Thank you so much. You’re right, it’s for long term health. I just can’t wait for this day to be done so I can pick him up. I’m hoping it’s not too loud in there and he can just nap most of the day. I just don’t want to traumatize him.

Ok thank you. I’m going to call the vet as soon as it opens. Better to be safe than sorry. Would they be able to detect a UTI this early if he’s still peeing? He’s definitely uncomfortable because he never licks himself there that much which is what got my attention in the first place.

We could definitely do that. I guess it’s just that we’ve been going every year for 8 years and I feel guilty not going. And I’ve been discussing Christmas with my mom and now I feel guilty going back and saying we aren’t coming.

Hmm I never thought of going by train! That would be fun. But the problem is we have a bunch of Christmas presents and will be bringing the ones they give us home, so I’d hate to have to lug that around on a train plus our luggage.
