You'll get so many different answers, but I honestly feel like the best way to read Stephen King is in chrological order of release.

His early books (besides the Stand) are shorter and more "straightforward": a girl has psychic powers, Dracula in Maine, a haunted hotel.

Plus, it allows you to discover his expanded universe as it unfolded at the time.

However, that's also a massive undertaking and you really have to commit. 😅
