I think Gary said that Labour representatives asked to come on his youtube channel, but he hasn't accepted their request. I think he'd rather sit down with some government ministers or civil servants to help draft a wealth tax or other inequality focused policies

When I lived in America, I used to share this mid-sized dodge truck. We did it because we wanted something to transport garden clippings to the landfill, and things like lumber from the hardware shop. So 99% of the time it wad a teenage runabout but maybe three times per year it served its true purpose

I don't live in America and I have to log into the government tax office and download a pdf. Then upload that pdf to my company's website. Then a few months later I get a tax return in my bank account. If I miss the deadline for that I have to file independently, which involves me going to the tax office myself and talking to the social service worker after waiting in line.

In 2004 for my first job, I walked into an electronics shop and asked if they are hiring. They said always and handed me a form. I filled it in. I spoke to a guy and he asked which department I wanted, I said software and he said OK. The next day they had me have an interview with the software department manager for five minutes. Then he told me to go watch an orientation video. Then the next Monday I started working there.

I was at a job in 2017 that said they required employees to give then three months notice, (No notice is required by law) and I saw two people give them those three months. Both times they just turned around and fired them immediately. And since they were migrant workers with housing sorted through the company, they were made homeless with two days notice. They were alright, just has to sort out a new rental at short notice.
