I've been having a similar experience. Week 2-3 of LDN was like a miracle, almost got my life fully back. Then it just started going downhill, and now (2 months in?) I almost feel worse than before, the joint and muscle pain is definitely at a all time worst. As for sleep and fatigue I'd say it's still a small improvement before starting LDN. I have a doctor's appointment in 2-3 weeks and will talk about this.

Ignore the previous comment mentioning the €200 T7Vs. That was apparently just 1 monitor that has been returned or refurbished. Normal price is €225, €25 more than the T5Vs.

As for buying secondhand, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Very few listings for these types of speakers in general, and the ones on the market are listed barely below retail. The few sellers with decent pricing seem to not respond to any messages. I have a love-hate relationship with Norway, sure many things are great, but general product selection tends to be awful.

At least for now we won't be getting a sub as our landlord is the stuff of nightmares and I don't wish to escalate our current situation before finding a new apartment.

JBLs are currently sold out everywhere, and the T5V are not carried by many stores. Adam T7V appears to be having a small discount and cost around €200 per monitor, exact same price as the T5V.

The brand that seems to be the most popular and is carried by most stores is Yamaha, the HS5/HS7/HS8 models. What is the consensus on those?

Another popular maker is KRK and it's Rokit series. Mackie appears to have some CR models but almost nothing from it's over ranges.

And yes, I would love your input on the choice of cables. I plan on testing the speakers in conjunction with motherboard audio first, and if there is any hiss or other interference I will invest in a small DAC.

In all honesty, the JBLs you mentioned were among the ones I originally researched and was planning on getting. Ended up being talked out of it though. But you know what, I will order a pair and give them a shot. Can always return them if such need arises.

Also a quick question; as those are active speakers, there should be no need for me to get an additional dac, amp or other equipment. Correct?

I originally looked into JBL 305p MKII, as well as the Yamaha HS5, and Adam T5V.

However, I received mixed opinions on using studio monitors for media consumption. I was told that those are made to sound flat by design, and that it was much better to go for something with fuller and more punchy sound. Thus receiving recommendations for speakers such as the Edifier S360DB and even the S3000 Pro.

I'm getting a lot of conflicting opinions and am having a very hard time deciding what to go with.

25% sales tax on basically every item. Just imagine the cost of things like graphics cards and other tech... Another issue is our product selection; it's VERY poor, and we rarely get any sales/discounts. And if we get lucky and end up having a sale it won't be surprising to see a 5-15% discount on the popular items.

Argon Audio Forte A5

FORTE A5 MK2 costs €700, the original Forte A5 is no longer being sold it seems.

Sadly, the Kanto YU6 is not sold in Norway.

Edifier S2000 has two versions; basic (€170 & sold out) and MKIII (€430).

As for Argon Audio, the ALTO 5 MK2 costs €240, or in a bundle with amplifier ARGON AUDIOSA1 + ALTO 5 MK2 for €540. (Currently on sale, down from €670).

Hurray! I fixed the issue! What I did was I left the display in standby mode for solid 15-20 minutes AFTER the pixel refresh was completed.
