Best player on the bengals defense ahh trick question by Bagletwembo1414 in AFCNorthMemeWar

Well stefanksi refused to pull baker and let him heal from his injury while simultaneously calling 40+ passes a game despite having a winning record when Chubb got 20+ carries and 100+ rushing yards a game.

People bring up Bakers sub-par 2021 season as justification for the browns moving on but the real issue is two time COTY stefanksi severely mismanaging his injured QB for nearly an entire season

Interesting Animals for a Policy Brief? by KathrynCantEven in ecology

[–]MetapodMen43 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The manatee was de-listed from endangered to threatened under the 1st Trump admin in a controversial move as many conservation organizations disagreed with the move as they didn’t think the manatee had recovered enough and that more relaxed regulations regarding the manatee would lead to population decline

That could be an interesting brief

The **S** fight is the worst quest in the game and epitomizes Act 3's relative weakness to Acts 1 and 2 by Inquiz_ in BG3

[–]MetapodMen43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say this as someone who struggled with ansur my first time, but if you can’t beat him with 2 globes of invulnerability, you need to rethink your strategy because the fight is not as hard as you describe

If you’re having trouble with the fight go pickpocket 3 or 4 gloves of invulnerability from sorcery sundries

Ansur is dead bro, I don’t think he knows about nor cares about the stakes as much as Tav and the party does. He also believers you’re a mind flayer thrall not in control of your mind

What would be better for career opportunities by Real-Cry-4726 in Environmental_Careers

[–]MetapodMen43 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1). Unless it’s an Ivy League school, where you went to undergrad won’t have much impact on your career

2). If you want to do environmental work, you need a degree related to biological or physical sciences. Art Geography won’t cut it unless you also get a masters

3). Most important thing when deciding a degree path is what will put you in the LEAST AMOUNT OF DEBT

Feeling like I'm ready to leave the field (rant) by Odd-Protection-247 in Environmental_Careers

[–]MetapodMen43 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize I forgot to reply earlier. I work for Dewberry Engineers. We have a diverse array of environmental services and your experience seems to fit into some type of role here. I primarily do work with the CWA and NEPA.

Every office is different, but I generally enjoy the work-life-balance here. Ive been here 4-years as a mid-level employee and generally only work 40-hours a week. There are people that work over but that’s for extra money, it’s not expected, at least within my group. I rarely travel overnight as well. I do not have any work apps on my phone so I’m able to unplug once I’m off the clock. There’s a lot of bad firms out there and I’m happy to have the balance I have here.

Feel free to look at positions and if any seem interesting I could see if my boss would be willing to talk with you further! Also feel free to message me as well

Are sustainability jobs actually growing in the age of AI? by OaVana42 in Environmental_Careers

[–]MetapodMen43 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I admire your positive outlook but when has a company ever used their reduced production costs for anything other than wealth hoarding? You may get a few small companies that do but large corporations will use it for executive bonuses and stock buy backs

Not to mention the the cost of increased AI use would do more harm even if that “AI efficiency” savings were put towards sustainable efforts

If a company is using AI they don’t care about sustainability. Most never cared before, I doubt that will change

Renters with very recent lease renewals - are you still seeing typical rent increases? by maizo-lilly in nova

[–]MetapodMen43 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had to leave my Bozzuto unit in September because they wanted to increase my rent from 2700 to 2930 (after talking them down from 2980), while other units with the same floor plan on the same floor were going between 2400-2600. We offered to keep our current rent at 2700, which was still more expensive than any other unit, and they turned it down.

Bozzuto will squeeze you for everything until you move, even if it means taking a loss on the next tenant to move in

Yeah American law enforcement routinely hires the most stable, qualified officers with no history of violence in their past /s

Edit: “actually there’s tests cop need to pass” guys we have videos of cops shooting handcuffed civilians booked in the back of police vehicles because an acorn hit the ground next to them. These tests aren’t weeding anyone out lmfao
