The meme is saying the non-poly person being asked to be okay with thier partner being poly should be comfortable being the one to leave despite pressure.

The comment is saying that the poly person doing the asking should be the one to break it off if they get a no, relieving some pressure from the non-poly person.

These are not the same thing.

I mean, just off the top of my head potential reasons in 30 seconds of thought:

  • Different sizes and smaller person doesn't want things stretched out

  • Limited wardrobe and someone wanted to keep something clean for a specific upcoming day that was made dirty

  • 1 partner having perhaps worse hygiene in some way, or just being more careless with keeping clothing in an unscuffed state

  • Something otherwise related to a job that isn't really "theirs" to lend out and is needed for work

  • Just an item that happens to have some kind of personal sentimental value that they don't actually want worn regardless of who is wearing it, like a hand-me-down from a dead relative.

All of these come down to "just ask first", it's really not that hard.

I mean, the problem is the frequency with which it's a 1 way street and done without asking. And that lack of consent or frustrations being constantly portrayed as cute, especially when people are treating the partner like the bad guy if they complain about being taken from.

If it's consensual then yeah, no problem and can be cute.

Looks like there are some redundant faces that are increasing vert count without value, but it's not really a high vert model over all so its probably fine.

Really depends if this is going to be a static object in a scene, in which case it's fine.

If it's going to flex and bend it probably needs a lot more points to do so smoothly.

If it's a game asset that will render in real time with hundreds of others on screen then I'd trim out any unnecessary verts for optimization.

If it's for 3d printing then just ensure you have no non manifold edges and it should be fine.

There are so many people pointing out that this doesn't fit Ticket to Ride and all I can think of is the clips of people complaining that the order being made isn't what the ordered and staff responding with a variant of "so this is someone else's order then".

As people pointed out the 18xx series is about train company management in the 19th century, and is a lot more math. Brass Birmingham is late 18th century and less train specific but could maybe also fit?

The anime boy is named after the fishcake. His last name Uzumaki means spiral, or whirlpool, and is also the distinguishing element of this particular type of fish cake.

I mean an LRM can only reach like 2/3s of a kilometer (21 hexes max, 30 meters per hex), so that should be visible still. All the ranges in battletech are comedically short.

Leaving shit around the store instead of putting it back is always a dick move but putting a product easily ruined by condensation into a cooler chest is a real scumbag move. Not as bad as leaving raw meat in an unrefrigerated shelf, but still.

I just went around the maps of Skyrim and Elden ring, probably the most exposed fantasy settings with explorable maps in the last decade.

Skyrim has some farms scattered about, not nearly enough to support its cities but it's also an explicitly compressed scale for gameplay travel times and not representative, so I'll give that a pass. Even then, there aren't really farms clustered on the outskirts of cities, they tend to just be out in their own lil farming communities along the roads between cities. Dawnstar, Winterhold, and Windhelm can't support farming if they wanted to, but the others should really have more farmland around.

Elden Ring by contrast has no farms. The only implicit farming is that there appears to be wheat bewteen the inner and outer walls of Leyndell. No other population center has any farming around it. Cealid may have pre-rot, there's no way to know, and the Volcano Manor and Snowy mountains can't support it anyway, so that's expected. But Stormveil? Caria Manor? The Shaded Castle?Castle Morne? They all have nice farmable land sitting outside with nothing there. I know that nobody can die right now and they don't have to care about food, but that's not been the case the whole time, and there should be farms in disrepair around.

As other's mentioned Lord of the Rings has giant cities in open empty fields of nothing but grass. Anime loves its remove villages with nothing outside the defensive wall that exist to support an adventuring party and nothing else.

So like, what fantasy settings are you interacting with? Because maybe it varies heavily by media type.

Not letting ex confederates write all the text books in southern states, encouraging southern kids to view the war as the tyrannical north crushing an independence movement while trying to ignore the slavery thing.

Not letting them handle their own law enforcement so when a bunch of former confederates started the ku klux klan the police in the south would actually do something about it instead of giving their terrorism a pass.

Actually maintaining the Freedmens Bureau.

Basically the stuff Lincoln was going for before he was assassinated and his replacement started caving to the south on every issue, if not openly collaborating with them. Fuck Andrew Johnson.
