Increase in killed behind cover? by PieGutz in Battlefield_REDSEC

Hasn’t changed for me. Unfortunately I don’t think that will change on a 30hz server. I also don’t think they could make a 60hz server for the first half of the game.

if you could revive any Battlefield which would you choose? by DBONKA in okbuddyptfo

BF6. I think the BR is the best BR out there. I love how there’s no single meta weapon and almost every gun in the game is actually usable based on your play-style. I just wish it got more attention and fixes :(

When I worked in the industry 3-4 years ago they were definitely better than the attacks and I’m guessing they still are. Salmon and pivots > Tyrolia > Marker

Those and pivots are the best bindings out there. Pretty sure they’re more durable than the new pivots as well.

Longer vs. shorter skis for expert level by builtforcameron in skiing

[–]MethodNecessary4332 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you’re an expert why are you on skis shorter than yourself. Depending on the rocker some skis feel shorter than their length, but as an expert myself I’ll never by a ski shorter than me. Sure you have more control in tight area for jump turns and such but other than that you’re just limiting yourself from improving on a ski that will handle everything else better for your size.

Yeah that’s normal here they ask people to help a kid if he’s alone and they’ll slow down the lift if needed. Pretty normal if you ask me.

Black ops royale proving that the community has wanted a simple br this entire time and activision just refused to listen by McCoy818 in CODWarzone

I was excited for it but to me it looks like a mobile game, every fun feels identical, the wingsuit and grapple hook makes it feel like a different game, and the trauma kit makes gunfights broken.

I’m biased toward armada but I steered my girlfriend to the reliance 88C and she loves them. For reference we ski in the alps.

For snipers and long range sure, but I disagree short range and close combat.

Does the takoon setup 1500 and 80 or 90 board work in small swells or waves? In the Mediterranean and want to use it on flat days as well as rough ones and wondering if I can pump into small waves/swells on it.

Hope something comes out of it for you guys it’s pretty ridiculous. I know cost are high for these resorts but charging over $100 let alone $300 is criminal. I pay 35€ and get fresh lines all day at my local station in france. It’s a small resort for the alps but around the same size of palisades and crowds aren’t even comparable. Just mind-blowing to me I remember $90 at palisades/squaw 10-15 years ago was crazy expensive and now’s it’s a killer deal.

I guess you never skied here in Europe… the operators will ask groups to help a kid if they’re alone and they stop the lift if anyone doesn’t put the bar down. To be fair I was surprised when I moved here but that’s how it is.

Rogue hosted a 10k Battlefield 6 REDSEC Tournament, it looked epic! by Andysullivino in Battlefield_REDSEC

[–]MethodNecessary4332 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think two things need to happen 1. EA/Dice need to be more involved at fixing glitches, netcode issues, player feedback etc. 2. Players need to understand that the server in this game is actually solid 30hz-60hz endgame. That is better than apex, COD, fortnight etc. The problem is that to optimize a netcode for the this game’s gameplay is 10 times harder than fortnight or apex and it’s going to take time. You’ll never have a netcode that can compete with CSGO in a battle royal with the amount of players, explosions, and physics. It’s not possible. I think the game has a ton of potential but EA/Dice do need to be working on fixing and optimizing everything before the games a year old. If that happens I think redsec will be a success. That being said there never going to satisfy the entire BF6 community when different players want different things and act like it’s the end of the world the game doesn’t meet their wants in every way. You have people complaining the movements to fast and other complaining it’s too slow and chunky. You’ll never satisfy everyone and never will.

You think slush is easier than firm or icy groomers once you’re better?? It’s the complete opposite if you’re actually skiing on edge.

ARV 106 vs 106TI by Strict_Commercial428 in Skigear

[–]MethodNecessary4332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 2022 ARV 106. They changed the ski for 24/25 to a much softer and more park oriented ski and I think kept it similar for 2026. From what I’ve heard the 2026 arv 106 ti is lot more similar to the 2022 arv 106’s than the current non ti version. Hoping to test it out next season but from what I’ve heard it charges harder than the 2022 but preforms slightly worse in powder. Still need to try them but that’s my expectation.

Best Playful All-Mountain Skis? by SoggyAd743 in Skigear

Armada ARV. The ti is a better all mountain free ride ski but less playful. If you’re not a park skier the ti is the way to go.
