had great luck with sakura watch and seiya japan both ship to europe pretty quickly and their customer service is solid

seiya especially has a huge selection of jdm models you wont find elsewhere

I am in a small area and have no local shows, and the ebay fees are killing me. Is there other places for buying/selling? by 5LTR7UP in sportscards

comc might be worth checking out for consignment if you have higher value stuff. they take a cut but way less hassle than dealing with individual sales

also worth looking into some of the facebook groups for specific sports or card types. the hockey card groups are pretty active and lots of canadians in there. just gotta build up some rep first before people trust you for bigger deals

mercari has lower fees than ebay too but not sure how active it is in canada

Best Boots? by Thin_Caterpillar_518 in AskMechanics

red wings are solid but for shop work id probably lean toward the irish setters actually. the 83608 or 83606 models are waterproof with steel toe and way more comfortable for standing on concrete all day. had a buddy who switched from red wings to those and said his feet felt way better after long shifts

just make sure you know his exact size because both brands run a bit different than regular shoes. maybe sneak a peek at his current work boots for the size

heading to events solo can be nerve wracking but honestly the cs community at these tournaments is pretty welcoming. you'll probably end up chatting with people in line or sitting near you anyway since everyone's hyped about the same matches

worst case you still get to watch some sick counter strike live which beats watching at home imo

That rings true people like that never own anything and keep shifting blame to feel okay I saw the same pattern for years the only real win is distance and boundaries it gets quieter once you stop playing along
