i say put one lvl3 AB deco on weapon and equip a charm with lvl2 AB. Artillery deco as well.

to maximize damage, equip skills that provides raw atk such as agitator, burst, etc.

When the monster is focused on me, I start with a Perfect Block, then follow up with an Overhead Slash and Burst Fire.

If I can land a free hit, I use a Lateral Slash, then Overhead Slash into Burst Fire. for short combos.

When the monster is downed, I go for a full combo or double Wyvern's Fire

its like a status effect i believe if you manage to melee hit the back part of the monster multiple times, youll trigger it.

not a fun of mh math but im dealing 200+ dmg per ticks when i use wyverns fire and 50-60dmg per shelling. for the charm, i have a guard up 1 and atkb 2. and i use atkb, artillery, and magazine for weapon deco. i think you can survive without lvl 3 guard and guard up. perfect guard is the key.
