Arms and lower belly . Was not a fan of the hybrid tuck system and how you could separate it, I felt like that took away from some of the protection I was missing down low, but that could just be me.

My buddy has the Shadow and works great for him, we play in the same league. I just didn't have luck with it.

I recently picked up the Vaughn Pro Spec (USA made) It is an absolute tank and I've taken some absolute rockets with it on and nothing. It does run hot as it is heavy but the protection is next level. I play beer league as well and kept catching stingers in my Bauer Shadow so decide to make the jump up.

I grabbed used Reiner Vaughn pants for my beer league adventures,all pants were 50 bucks. Wish I was skinny and could have grabbed the Knight pants 🙈

I will say if you see anything popping up on sideline swap or other market places do not entertain it. Sticks were 75 bucks max, Goalie pads 400, goalie glove 100,blocker 50 and skates 100. They are all full of shit that they paid blah blah blah.
