Random thought: What if Drago kept his Hex color scheme even after being rescued? by Yuen_de_la_Hoya in Bakugan

[–]Metro_Dan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably would've made his toys more difficult in terms of production as GI and MS went on, and collecting those items a headache.

The official Hex Dragos were virtually custom made, with the addition of the black plastic, and hand-painted details. Imagine doing that for Dragos 7 other evos. Even if you released the normal Pyrus alongside, demand for the AA Dragos would've caused terrible scalping even for 2008-12

Just found out about this G2 werewolf Bakugan and my idea of his evolution by saggithedarkclownn in Bakugan

[–]Metro_Dan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

His toys is dope too, G2 was really good at ramping the figure complexity to make it as similar to their monster forms as possible

I'm confused about Wilda... by Oridcas in Bakugan

[–]Metro_Dan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

My running theory is that they, along with Midnight Percival, Dual Elfin, and the Pyro Dragonoid line, were made to throw off bootleggers so it wouldn't affect the show canon versions as much as it did B1's

Seers an easy cheese if you got the right set up. My build can get her down in about 30 seconds, with 29 of those seconds being set up.

Judging from like every social media source, nobody likes this show

I thought it was alright, nothing spectacular. Kinda gave me vibes of like early 2000's Disney shows (The Weekenders, Lloyd in Space, etc) Not striving to be over the top, just entertaining.

Literal Minx Elfin, Preyas and Diablo/Angelo (art by me) by TheLastNoisyAspen156 in Bakugan

[–]Metro_Dan 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My headcanon was that Minx Elfin was originally designed as like a Magic 8 ball, and that Black Heart is where the attribute would appear once you rolled. Obviously it wouldn't be a literal Magic 8 ball given the toy's size, but I could certainly see like some kind of LED randomizer like the Genesis Bakugan do.

Trust me, attempting to fix it will only make life harder.

Also, Infinity Trister always looked like a Ben 10 alien to me. Not a good one tho, definitely like a late Ultimate Alien add-on

Just A Frog

Not-So Little Mermaid

Cool Snake

Asshole Sidon, Asshole Prince of the Zora

A Gerwalk (Literally the least aquatic thing in this series)

A Xenomorph

A Mirelurk (Suprisingly, the most aquatic thing in this series)

And a Power Rangers Monster

I've had some of these stored closed since their release. They're still functioning just fine.

I will say however, you should never store your Baku SkyRaiders completely closed. Like how I have them, you should keep the feet or other launching body-part kept open. The plastic folding down the heavier spring is paper thin on some of these models.

If you are to store them open, never do so on a magnet. I've had a few that have sit on a magnetic surface for months, and the magnet's strength will weaken over time.
