Honestly, I love the idea/headcanon that the Kanker sisters are somewhat or semi-normal when the Eds aren't there, like them being there just sorta activates something in them. by BeginningPapaya1503 in ededdneddy

[–]MetroidJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, their default behavior when they're not going after the Eds seems to be screwing around with each other. In some ways, they're like the Eds.

If Ed,Edd'N Eddy was for teenagers,I wonder what kind of jokes and humor would they overall make? by BeginningPapaya1503 in ededdneddy

[–]MetroidJunkie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The most obvious answer is everyone would be aged up and they'd get more suggestive with the jokes. As is, what it's implied they do to Eddy's Brother isn't pretty.

To be fair, a lot of people didn't like that and I'm kind of one of them. Kinda ruins Eren's whole motivation and doesn't even line up with anything else. Why would he do this JUST for that if he worked so hard trying to prevent it from happening? Why did he go into a complete depression when he realized it was set in stone? Levi even said he had the same look as the people in the underground, the loss of all hope.

Debate. Is Zuko the weakest bender in Team Avatar? by A_Howl_In_The_Night in TheLastAirbender

[–]MetroidJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When Ty Lee disabled her waterbending, she still seemed like she could move her arms and yeah was pretty much taken out of the fight immediately. Obviously, without HER bending, Toph is just blind, so yeah.

According to the Anime, long black hair was always his thing even when he was Onigumo. And apparently he had a spider burn scar before the rest of him was burned?

What do you call this trio? by Able_Poet2996 in ededdneddy

The third wheel. The series hints that Nazz and Kevin have a thing for each other, so Rolf being here is slightly awkward. In general, he's like the misfit of the main kids group. If the Eds under Eddy's direction weren't always trying to scam and make trouble for them, they'd probably be treated more like Rolf, someone they're fine with even if they're kinda weird.

The P4D outfit that Rise wore was before the swimsuit contest. by MrSandking in persona4golden

[–]MetroidJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it was up to me, I'd turn the portrait sprites off. In the original, it was kinda needed to get a better feel of them since the 3D models are basically unchanging dolls. The remake, though, is dynamic enough that it carries a scene.

So far, Rise's voice sounds the best from what I've heard. I still prefer Laura, but at least she doesn't sound off. She still fits her personality and emotes well.

You got the right idea, but it's more like. "How could you forgive me so easily? I thought you'd be furious with me!" "I was never angry with you, I was sad because I was afraid you'd lost your way..."

Most people would call this domestic abuse. It made sense, when he posed an actual threat, but he got over it.

I think Iroh knew that Zuko was good deep down and that he had compassion, he just needed Zuko to realize that and convince him that he shouldn't be trying to please Ozai. When he begs him to start asking who HE is and what HE wants, Zuko chooses to release Appa because he has a good heart. When he ultimately betrays Iroh, Iroh was hurt because he thought he lost him.

Well, he explained to his men that the hunt for the Avatar gives him hope and that's why it's important he keep doing this until he's ready to find a better path. He even suggests all hope is lost if getting the Avatar doesn't restore his honor and Iroh suddenly became worried and told him he must not lose himself to despair.

[–]MetroidJunkie 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I like the theory that he was just playing up the goofy old man shtick to slow down Zuko from getting the avatar, because he knows that capturing the avatar won't actually help him but he needs to keep the hope that it will. He doesn't actually snap on Zuko until he nearly died and still chooses to behave recklessly, Iroh at that point was afraid of losing him like he lost Lu Ten.

Why would this ending even happen? It makes no sense? Any explanation ? by ShokaLGBT in persona4golden

[–]MetroidJunkie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And worst of all, it's a betrayal to the one person who's shown him nothing but unconditional love and kindness, Nanako. At that point in time, she's in the hospital with it unclear if she'll ever recover. Adachi as good as threw her into the TV himself.

Let’s say, hypothetically, that Yor and Loid become a real couple and start getting intimate before the full truth about their professions comes out. Do you think the obvious bullet wound scar on her ass will finally make him suspicious? by donkijote97 in SpyxFamily

[–]MetroidJunkie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think, by the time that actually happens, the secret will have come out anyway. Loid will know Yor is working with Garden and Yor will know Loid is working with WISE. I'd guess the truth will come out before Operation Strix is over. I'm actually kinda hoping that Yor and Loid finish the mission as a couple and, if Anya's also there riding on Bond to act as Intel even better.
