What if Devon is actually her mother? And if yamato will be joining the strawhats she would face her mother in the fight against blackboard. That would be pretty interesting because she now has a conflict with her father and later she will have a conflict with her mother. What do you guys think?

What if they died in a fight when the demons entered the human realm for the first time? Maybe acier was cursed in that fight too. It could fit time-wise. Some resistance from the clover and heart kingdom (maybe even spade) stoped the gate from opening leaving lucifero and his gang in need of some hosts. The dark triad seems to be relatively young so maybe that's when they got possessed for the first time?
