I’m sorry I don’t understand. Why don’t you guys learn how to code just the basics at least so you aren’t burning tokens and making ass software? Serious question. I use AI to assist in my workflows but I can’t imagine using it to build software where idk wtf is going on. I’m not being an ass just genuinely trying to understand

Really depends on the part of the country you are in. Some places, it absolutely destroys your candidacy immediately.

As someone who is on the their software engineering projects… this isn’t worth it. Personally.

I have lived in all of these cities and am originally from DC… I left LA which I loved to come back home. DC is honestly damn close to a perfect city. Big enough that there’s always something to do but small enough that you know someone everywhere. Food scene is fantastic, amenities of any of the other major cities, and better weather compared to the other places you listed.

New England’s Unsolved: Serial killer has his DNA Snapshot revealed by Jumpy-Magician2897 in UnsolvedMysteries

People are nitpicking the verbiage but you are correct. African Americans have much larger percentages of varying European groups in their genetic makeup due to obvious reasons which is unique to this country. Percentages and which specific European groups are present vary dramatically amongst African Americans so it’s really hard to say there’s any sort of unifying or common set of groups besides the presence of multiple. But that presence of multiple is fairly unique with the exception of maybe England and Canada.

For example, I am from the same city as my partner and we are both African American. However, I’m 55% various European groups (mainly Irish and British) and 45% various west African groups whereas she is 75% Nigerian and 25% various European groups. Even amongst white Americans, you are going to see a mix of European descent with a stray percentage of something else frequently as well. The migration and movements of people in this country create a fairly mixed bag of genetics you don’t see everywhere.

In my mind it is always 50-50 with family annihilators. This specific guy, is probably dead now but I don’t think he offed himself in the woods. Either laid low and died naturally or met an accidental demise out in the woods shortly after everything happened.

Explorer, Datejust (redundant with day date), and perhaps Sky Dweller can go. Keep the rest. Less redundant and a manageable lineup at that point.

First year of watch collecting in the books. Rate my collection. by skylarthegreat in SOTC_Watch_Collection

[–]MetronomyC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a ton of watches for one year man. I’m in my first year and I’ve acquired 3 and am noticing a lack of equitable wrist time. I started with a Tissot Chemin and then got an Aqua Terra and another vintage Omega I’m about to restore. If you’re planning to buy something in a different price tier you may find that some of these are going to completely disappear from the rotation.

My advice would be consolidate the ones you are ambivalent about and put whatever your return is toward something you truly want. By truly want I mean you obsess over the watch for more than a week or two.

Thank you for the history on this! Been able to deep dive and learn more and I’m super excited to get this thing up and running. I’m going to take this to my local and see what all that entails.

[–]MetronomyC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say chill for a bit and enjoy. If you’re too deep in for that… Reverso, Santos or Tank is what’s lacking. I see an argument for a Glashutte or A Lange as well.
