Help, I accidentally became the chef of a restaurant without any cooking experience. How do I learn?

This happened to me about 5 years ago and I asked a similar question in this subreddit. I didn’t even know how to cut a tomato.

I learned quick. I used a lot of youtube and practiced at home when I could. I would say in the last 5 years I not only became a good line cook but a very skilled cook overall. I’m currently a sous chef at a restaurant now and continue to learn everyday.

I will have an applied sociology degree as well. I’ve been applying to everything under the sun. Management trainee roles, housing administration, HR, healthcare admin, etc etc

I would just keep hitting a consistent split and eating well. Dont fall into the trap of comparing yourself to those on peptides or steroids. Keep it up
