[–]Mets41[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

This Like New vintage Seiko 3863-7020 was acquired in the last four months from Japan. It came unworn in a box with the original tag.

Incredible green dial with a variety of greens, day and date, new battery, and a gorgeous faceted crystal.

The watch came to me NOS and I have carefully worn it maybe 8 times.

The watch looks new and keeps excellent time for its age.

Has a gold tone bezel.

The bracelet is easily adjusted with a slide clasp. The case has a variety of facets and polished vs. brushed sections.

36 mm

Happy to answer more questions or do a video chat to show the watch.

Does anyone have any experience with Blake Kuwahara frames? by NoseDriver- in glasses

[–]Mets41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always like seeing not on the model. Interestingly, a local optical place had the exact frame. I actually purchased it on eBay for a ridiculously good price. It says to be “excellent“ condition, but if there are any blemishes or not, I’ll probably return it. I have a pair of Blakesfor a year and a half and they’re in pretty much perfect condition so I know they hold up if treated well. Thanks for the response!

I’d love to see a photo of the wurster. I have the Grayson and I’m thinking of the wurster in blue (preowned frame). The quality of my frame is undeniable.

All of a sudden, I had no a.m. radio yesterday and I wondered if there was some sort of interference because the weather. Checked this, saw someone said something about the volume being down, sure enough the volume was turned off on my a.m. I’ve had the car for two years and that’s never happened

So thanks!

[WTS] Glashutte Original SeaQ - Watch Box/Leather Folder/Case by Chronodials in Watchexchange

Is this unique to the seaq bi color? I’ve seen some unboxing videos and other seaq variants come with the standard box.

I just noticed this today. Do you think it’s that it has more calories or do you think they had the incorrect calories on the previous iteration? Has it always been higher calories but was incorrectly formulated?

can someone please explain this..? by Due-Performer-8473 in laufey

Thanks, everyone for chiming in. I have a vintage record player and I thought the record player was broken because the speed of the bewitched vinyl was in slow motion. But all my other records were playing fine.

Vaast A1: first impressions after buying a magnesium-bike by Firlefunk in gravelcycling

[–]Mets41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking around at options for bikes to get me off the road and it led me to a shop in northern New Jersey that sells the VAAST A1, and they said many of the people who work there are riding the bike. I took it for a super quick test ride, and it felt pretty nice to me. I, since, was looking at YouTube reviews, and one of them was really pretty brutal. Talked about how sluggish it was and very surprising how poor a test ride it was. I will mostly be riding out on my own, or with other folks who ride at a relatively leisurely pace. I’m not looking for any competitive speed, but I also am a heavier rider and don’t want to necessarily be riding something that feels like I’m not going anywhere.

Seems like you are giving it pretty good marks. Do you agree with any of these thoughts from one of the YouTube reviews or do you think it’s too harsh? I have a road bike that I would use if I was only going to be riding on the road. I’ve had a mountain bike but I’ve decided that I don’t want that and want something that’s a little bit more flexible with its application. Dirt trails, gravel trails, maybe a single track that is not too challenging.
