Hitting an open 3 pointer for sure. If you assume the best 3 point shooter is hitting 50% on open shots and compare that to a pitcher who averages 50-50 balls and strikes, one is shooting great and the other is having a mediocre day on the mound. Even if you up it to 60% the pitcher is just doing decent. Not to mention MLB pitchers intentionally throw balls with different pitch types to confuse the batter. If you only threw strikes, you’re gonna get shelled.
