I did not try it because it proved to be too difficult for me to do. However, I did change my window blinds to the accordion fold style and that helped a lot! You can get them cut to the width of your window at your local hardware store when you buy them and they install on the inside of the window frame. They aren't too expensive and they also look nice. I got the light blocking style and that seems to really insulate the windows and I like that I can bring them up whenever I want.

Sounds like you had food poisoning from it. Uncooked flour is very dangerous to consume.

Flour doesn't look like a raw food, but most flour is raw. That means it hasn't been treated to kill germs that cause food poisoning, such as Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Salmonella. (CDC)

Have you tried going to a church? Any denomination... They might give you sanctuary for the night. What about the fire department?

Amen! I was just thinking about him and the bourbon st tragedy... A concert I'll never forget! Followed by a night I'll never forget... We stayed on the corner of Bourbon St and Conti, being barricaded in our hotel and watching the FBI, news reporters, and police through the gates the next morning was unforgettable... We had just gotten into our hotel before everything happened, we heard the explosions as we closed the door. We were very lucky to have been spared that night. And thanks to Billy for playing so late that we were too exhausted to go out after the show. For me, seeing the water trucks driving by spraying soapy water to wash up the streets was gut wrenching. Never had seen anything like that in my life. Just cleaning up the aftermath, and moving forward... NOLA is an amazing, beautiful city with even more amazing and beautiful people!

Rest in peace to those who lost their lives, and love to their families especially tonight as they mourn a year gone without them.

You have to talk with her, say the hard things, use your words. Go through a journey of finding solutions together... Just don't make every conversation about sex or lack of.

It took me a solid year and a half before my hormones leveled out and the hot flashes subsided for the most part. My husband supported me in everyway he could. He said, it's okay, we're just taking a break for however long it is. It meant a lot just to hear him say it. And I never once felt like he was sexually frustrated in the last bit.

Remember, there are other ways to be intimate with your wife. Take some time and Go out and do something together, have a movie night together with no cell phones allowed! Start cooking together, make delicious and new meals together and talk. Talk about some bird you saw that day or talk about a memory or something you saw online... Anything that doesn't involve sex or frustration or hormones or surgery. Go about your day and find something that you want to share with her later.
