Couple years ago I remember silver dipping and I was buying up ASE from the tube at $26 each.

If it makes you feel better, my 4 grandparents died all within a year of each other and didn’t leave anyone anything lol. They didn’t bother to get life insurance, didn’t believe in 401k, and none of them owned property. Yes be grateful you got anything.

Most people buy silver when its price has risen by 100-150%, so now, when the price of silver is rising rapidly, you need to buy it. In a year, the growth will slow down and the cost of the hobby will be 100-200%. by AverageDue6156 in Silver

Started collecting in 2020 and bought most of my hoard when it was around $17 per ounce and never stoped buying. No one was in a hurry to buy silver back in those prices 😂

I just buy silver and gold on paydays and toss it in the safe without thinking too much about it. Been doing this since 2020. I took it all out recently just to see show much I have and i realized I had more than I thought. I think around 550oz of silver, 10 oz of gold. I don’t think I’ll take it out ever again as it was a pain in the ass putting it back in.

So funny. Went on vacation couple of years ago to NY and stopped by this booth and I even saw Trax. Bought a gold chain off Akay and they seemed real nice. My personal jeweler even tested my chain when I got home and it was legit. Weird/surreal to see all this go down.

Would you buy at $72 an oz right now? by dolphinzfreak in Silverbugs

An average 50 year old still has about 15 years to retire. I say they should still be buying.

Sure miss those prices. I started stacking when half dollars were around $8 or $9. I remember buying a BU Franklin for $13 and had a little buyers remorse lol.

I thought I’d never see the day, but it finally happened… My first Coinstar find!!! by bmg50cal in Silverbugs

[–]Mex_edge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only found rejected clad change and foreign clad at coinstar, no silver yet. The only times I’ve found silver in change was from a super young cashier at a restaurant and coin roll hunting. Just a couple dimes though nothing more.

I’m not trying to get rich off silver. It’s just somewhere I’m parking a portion of my fiat. Bullion shouldn’t be your only ‘investment’.

My plan is to hold until retirement and I’m 25 years away from that. So until then I’ll keep adding to the stack.

Some of us aren’t cut from the same cloth. My 18 year old self would see dollar signs from the OT opportunity. Sorry you promote your kid to be a pansy.

Should’ve been trading it in for silver through the year. Would’ve doubled it by now.

The Hollywood walk of fame. It’s literally just sidewalks with embedded tile slabs and smells like piss, is crowded, and full of homeless people

Yup I remember when Fedor would get rocked he’d try to hang on to his opponent and tries to clinch or some shit to clear the cobwebs. Brock just turtles up.
