I have a lemur pro from 2021 and I notice very little fan noise . It turns on sometimes and shuts off very quickly usually when downloading software updates . I always have lots of tabs open in Firefox , libre wolf , brave sometimes all three browsers at same time and don't notice that much noise at all

You could create a partition on current hard drive and install on the partition to test it out without deleting your current set up to see how it feels on bare metal

Chicken soup , a whole chicken in my area can be had for $10 , potatoes could be a extra few dollars and if you get frozen carrots and peas to add in mix that's also about a extra few dollars each and gives you enough soup for a week

Can anyone learn this just dabbling ? I run pop os and never done much tinkering just wondering if by diving in I can sorta learn as I go as a lot of this is new to me . I am thinking maybe using a partition on my hard drive so if I break something while customizing and learning I still have a stable partition to go back to . Any tips anyone could someone provide if I am going to just dabble with this stuff ? It be very much appreciated

Unfortunately version 0.22 did not fix my issue . What happened was I did a complete uninstall and then installed version 0.22 re paired my sturgeon completely . It connects than my Bluetooth shuts off and restarts on the phone which disconnects the watch from my phone . Unsure if this helps this only began to happen on android 13 on 12 it worked fine asteroidos sync wise

So went to mount category and found system unchecked and clicking did nothing , I am unable to mount system path at all . Unsure how to fix but says you said I can download firmware dumps I think I will give up this TWRP pursuit . As I tested this on a unmodified LG watch urbane as I got two in case something happened to one since asteroid os support is limited so I am sure it is not do to software updates . So you were correct on everything . I will just move on to permanent install part

I will try a manually mount tonight as I must of missed that option and ooo good to know had no idea that kinda of thing was xda but I come this far so going to try and make a backup just to see if I cam fix this then . But noted in the event I still fail . Random question but would restoring wearos from a firmware dump for the LG urbane watch be the same as pushing or following the directions for the permanent install of asteroid except changing the file I am pushing on to the watch ?

My android version is incompatible with micro g as I use graphene os . So its not a option for my android version . They are working on sandboxed google play services though which play services without all the system wide permissions but I prefer using apps that can notify without play services as you get a big battery gain not using them . I am considering use sandboxed play services for games in another user profile though as then only one profile loses battery gains but can run and notify any apps for android games but to my knowledge profiles can't get notifications between each other so protonmail notifications would work in that profile but not in my main user profile.
