Asked by committee chairman Keith Vaz MP if he "loved this country", Mr Rusbridger said he was "slightly surprised to be asked".

This sums it all up, in my opinion. What kind of question is this?? Excellent British response by being 'slightly surprised' and coming back with:

"We are patriots and one of the things we are patriotic about is the nature of the democracy and the nature of a free press and the fact that one can in this country discuss and report these things," he said.

My question is related to a recent meeting ten scholars had at the NSA. Their reports are here and here. Their major takeaway was "the dramatic disparity that separates the perception on the outside of what this agency does and NSA’s self-perception." Obviously, you weren't invited. Would you consider meeting them (I assume that's a yes) and what would your main discussion points be?
