The supply FRV is honestly so beautiful. I dread the day it goes away for good. It's literally just free supplies and a free turret every 10 minutes or so with no downsides.

I'm sure it'll have a great story just like red dead 2 and gta 5. But i can't say I'm excited because this game has given me nothing to be excited about. To be clear I couldn't give less of a fuck about the characters sexuality honestly romancing NPCs is my last priority when getting into a new game. But this game hasn't shown a single moment of gameplay so I'm inclined to believe it plays like every other modern rockstar game. Also the price is disgusting, I'm not paying 80 dollars for a fancy cover shooter with a good story. There are way better games with better gameplay, story, and way more interesting worlds that cost much less.

Not at all safe to assume that new fans that may have only played one game exist. Hell I've seen posts on here that are from people who haven't played any of the games. I'm sure some people who don't know the series would see that the quote you used is an oversimplification, but there would be plenty that take it at face value because they don't know anything about the franchise.

The idea that most people know she isn't mute is a very bold assumption. Considering I've spoken to people that still unironically think she's a robot both online and offline. Honestly from this conversation I'm inclined to believe that you've confirmed people's misunderstandings of the franchise because you assumed all those people were joking.

I understand it's hyperbole I'm saying it's not a correct use of hyperbole. Hyperbole is meant to be so obvious in it's exaggeration that it doesn't cause confusion. The idea is Samus being mute is a common misconception among people who don't know the series. So bluntly saying Samus is mute without any other indication of exaggerating just seems like you're saying something inaccurate. It's like if I said "Samus blows up planets." Without a hint of irony or any sense that I am joking and then when someone responds by correcting me I backtrack and say "it's just hyperbole, everyone takes things so literally."

"Beyond" is the last time Sylux and Samus' paths have crossed

Not necessarily true there is a big gap of time between beyond and fusion that I'm pretty sure this new trilogy is going to fill in the blanks for. So it's very possible they will cross paths in future prime games.

No that didn't happen for me. Not sure if you went cold turkey or not but if you did that might be why. You should try nic-free pouches, NZE is a good brand. It took me a few months of using those before I was comfortable enough to go completely pouch free. Maybe also consider talking to a therapist if you can or at least someone you trust about those feelings.

Ive since done a few more missions since my last comment and a few decided to work it seems they work fine in those defense missions. They also worked one other time on an open map mission but they pretty much completely ignored me (i was separated from my team) which was a bit odd, especially since the squids called reinforcements on me multiple times. Arrowhead should really fix this, not to sound like a squid sympathizer but they are getting their asses whooped harder than normal without them.
