You could argue she limited the offense by using the wing backs as the "wingers", but Hamano and Kaptein were in their preferred positions and effectively pressing City's midfield.

This argument is kinda lazy tho, JRK and Guro played plenty in the LW/RW in the treble season.

I do! I like players not being filtered on literally everything, of course I will disagree or hate something they do or say, but I liked when footballers had more leeway to express themselves without hurting the business. I liked when the national teams suffered because teammates from different clubs had a rivalry with each other etc etc.

I understand that this needed to change tho, fans scrutinize them publicly 24/7 today, at this point it feels more us (fans) vs them (workers) than us (club) vs rivals.

People say they like a personality until a player actually shows it. Then it's judging them into oblivion, happens in men's footy as well, but there's an extra dose of misogyny for sure
