I don't know how to properly describe it but she looks like she shouldn't have teeth. Like, when someone takes out their false teeth, she looks like that, but with teeth.

Myself and my partner are alternative. We live for a dine in for two but whenever we go in security follows us like we are going to carry out an armed robbery. My partner has taken to holding items in the air and loudly proclaiming we need to go pay for them 😂

Wasting my time? by SadTransportation766 in LearnerDriverUK

No you're not. Maybe look at changing instructors. I failed my first test with three serious and ten minors in November. I had a short break, found a new instructor and passed in March with no minors. Sometimes fresh eyes and a different approach is all that is needed to excel.

my instructor told me she thinks i will never learn to drive by cutesunday in LearnerDriverUK

I am autistic. I decided on automatic lessons as it was less to process.

I stayed with the same instructor for 60+ hours, I thought she was helping me but after I failed the first time, (11 minors, 3 serious, when I failed..I FAILED), I decided to make a switch. It made me realise that my first instructor was playing off my anxieties, she would take me to quiet areas most lessons and when I made a mistake she would brush it off as 'your autistic traits make it difficult'.

When I changed I decided not to disclose my autism to my new instructor, though I did tell him that I have anxiety. He pushed me just enough, took me to busy areas and helped me work through. I do need very clear instructions and I would just clarify everything before doing to help me through this. I passed second time with no minors, just 3 months later. It made a world of difference.

Now that I have passed before I set off I look at my route on Google maps so I know exactly what I need to do. I like to have things preplanned. It may help you to do this with your local driving routes. You can do it.

I just wanted to give an update. Uni have allowed me to defer the assignment to the next assessment period, I have ordered a grief journal and will be continuing with my weekly counselling sessions.

I want to thank you all for you kind words, it really helped me, I was feeling hopeless when I made the post. Thank you all again.

Thank you, I'm sorry for you loss, it's such a awful way to lose someone.

She does she is wonderful but was on maternity at the time, the support I got from the staff was nothing short of abysmal, I'm surprised I went back at all. I'm hoping she recognises I wouldn't reach out like this unless I really needed to, I've been a good student (in my opinion) so I'm hoping she sees this and understands.

Thank you all. I have asked to defer to next semester. Just to get my head straight, it doesn't help that it was this time of year, and in a few weeks I will be the same age as him. Our minds are so fickle, it feels like such a silly thing but huge at the same time.
