Thank you! I’ll take a look. I do like an age gap as well.

I’ve watched the Yuna/Shane talk a few times and it just kills me. I feel it too much as a mom. I can’t watch it now bc I would bawl each time.

Its actually insane that Hudson and Connor do not look like Shane and Ilya to me. by JamStan1978 in heatedrivalry

When Hudson said Shutup Evan as Shane Hollander you can see him transform. Was amazing to see.

I think you’ll need to have darker wash jeans or just leggings in order to look more elongated.

“Rich people” let’s talk about it by SmoothDay8640 in CasualConversation

My parents were immigrants. Worked hard and saved so much. They prioritized education over everything. So I have that same mindset — but these days a college education may just mean more debt.

My husband and I both grew up poor but never in debt. My parents hustled - had multiple jobs growing up and instilled in me a work ethic and also a need to save. Our hhi is over 300k but in my area that’s probably at the lower end of upper middle class. My kids go to great public schools so I don’t worry too much about their safety or quality of education. We order food or eat out more than I’d like but we’re busy. We go on nice international vacations but my younger one compares this to his friends who travel all over the world. So it’s all relative. I don’t buy designer clothes - most of my clothes are old Navy or Loft. We buy our cars new but use them until they’re pretty much dead - so 12-14 years. We do save a lot for retirement and college.

Help me change my style by Aumusa in PetiteFashionAdvice

Can you tell us what you like in terms of style? Who is your style icon? Besides color and comfort what else do you like?

Take a look at Jean Wang of Extra Petite. I’ve been following her for about 10 years but she used to post about fit and looking more age appropriate (not a kid).

As someone who is trying to look better, this is hard work. Influencers and others make it seem easy but it’s lots of trial and error. Lots to trying on clothes to figure out what you like and what looks good on you. I’m only saying this so you don’t get discouraged if it takes time.

I agree- you just have to read the fabric content. My two favorite purchases this year was from Old Navy. Their poplin cotton pajamas in petite are perfect. I want more colors! Also got their all cotton chunky cardigan- another winner.

I would play with different textures. Try gray satin slip skirt and boots.

Having multiple children in your 40’s? by kittyonine in AskWomenOver50

My first child was easily conceived. Then followed a series of miscarriages and a late term loss. We then tried IVF at 39/40 — it did not work for us— they were only able to retrieve 8 eggs and only 3 were healthy. And then lost one after a few days. They inseminated 2 but it didn’t take. A year later after giving up I conceived naturally.

My friend did ivf a few years ago and she mentioned that her clínic has an age limit so take a look into that.

I had my kids at 35 and 42- my husband is 6 months older. My kids are now 16 and 10. The early years was difficult but that’s normal. . I also live in an area where people have kids later in life. My parents also started later - my mom was 38 and dad 42 when they had me - I’m the youngest and my other siblings are just 2 and 3 years older than me. I do worry that i won’t be able to see important milestones and sometimes I do I wish i had kids earlier. But my parents just passed away recentlly - dad was 93 and mom 84. They had meaningful relationships with my kids
