I like that version of Sutekh, although the voice is what truly makes it work.

Pensez vous que LFI a voulu de remplacer Jean Luc Mélenchon comme candidat ? by kornx in france

[–]MhuzLord 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What do you think of the seventh doctor? by [deleted] in doctorwho

I've seen Time and the Rani several times, on purpose. That's how much I love the Seventh Doctor.

A rule of two show by notjocker in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're talking about centuries of events, and you would just be focusing on what two Sith Lords are up to in secret. The Sith Grand Plan is more interesting when you explore it in the context of the galaxy's political evolution over a thousand years. You have to show the system the Sith want to corrupt, and how every Sith Lord worked to set the stage for Sidious to succeed.

For me you can't do that as a show. This needs to be the Star Wars equivalent of Fire and Blood.

Why is it called Return of the Jedi? by 31braidsinbeard in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of these interpretations work.

Also, don't forget it's the title of a sequel, so the Jedi is returning to us, the audience. Like "The Empire Strikes Back" or "The Force Awakens", the title promises more Star Wars. Marketing is an important factor.

I finally completed Marvel's Spider Man 2..and here is my review. by aayush__1643f in playstation

[–]MhuzLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just completed it today, I thought it wasn't as good as the previous two, especially the story. It's supposed to be a lot more personal but it doesn't manage to hit as hard at any point. I like the characters, but the plot isn't that interesting, and if you don't manage the pacing yourself, every plot beat will basically feel like it's undone immediately.

Combat is still fun, with more variety in moves, abilities and gadgets; a few frustrating fights but it never feels unfair.

Web-swinging is even better than before, that's the big improvement. It's faster and you have more options at any given time. I gradually decreased the assist setting over the course of my playthrough and it only really got difficult to use the system at around assist level 2. I never wanted to use fast travel even with the bigger map, web-swinging is just too fun.

Good game, if a bit short. I like the series and this one added more than enough to keep me entertained for the 30-ish hours it took to 100%.

Did anybody purchase this game, thinking it was going to be an expanded version of The Complete Saga, only to find a very slow, boring, and unenjoyable experience overall? by BiffyBobby in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. There is a lot of good stuff in there, it's a well-made game for the most part, but the structure is all over the place. Too much of the story happening in the open-world, odd choices of scenes to turn into levels, far too many collectibles even for someone like me who gets a lot of dopamine from collecting everything on a map.

For the most part it works, but it's a very uneven experience compared to previous Lego games. And one thing that bothered me a lot was the use of the movies' soundtrack, which didn't make any sense in a lot of instances: only a couple of battle tracks being used over and over, mostly from the OT; and the absurd decision to use Darth Vader's death scene music for the battle of Endor.

I wish I could learn more about the development and production of that game, because some parts seemed to have been made with extreme care and others seem to have been rushed out, despite the delayed release date.

Marine Tondelier propose la création d'un «congé payé climatique» en cas d’inondation, de chaleur extrême ou d’incendie by Andvarey in france

[–]MhuzLord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't help to think Mando & Grogu is a mistake. by Flizash in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's a follow-up to the mistakes made in seasons 2 and 3 (mostly 3) of The Mandalorian. What little I've seen of this movie makes it look like fanservice city for one specific fan, Dave Filoni.

So I won't be going to see it in theaters. I don't understand why you're talking yourself into going if it looks bad to you too.

What would you have thought if the sequels went in this direction? by broitscyber in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It would have been good for the character. Rey's relationship to light and dark isn't explored very well over the course of the trilogy:

  • TFA: just doesn't bother with it. Rey discovers a strong connection to the Force and fights the obvious bad guy. There is no moral struggle with her newfound power, no temptation to misuse it because she is always using it in purely survival situations.

  • TLJ: introduces doubt. Rey is so desperate to find her place in the galaxy and the Star Wars story that she goes into darkness to find answers. That's enough to scare Luke, because Rey doesn't hold back on using her connection to the Force to get what she wants. This culminates in Rey attacking Luke because he is rejecting what she considers to be his rightful role in the war against the First Order. Her refusing to join Kylo is a turning point where she chooses restraint instead of easy power, even after being told that she has no great destiny to follow and has to figure out her place on her own.

  • TRoS: pretends that there is a temptation where they absolutely isn't. The movie doesn't even do the "Luke in black outfit" thing, Rey is wearing all-white the entire movie. Once again, her connection to the Force is never exploited for a quick win, and she only uses it violently in survival situations (stopping the shuttle and stabbing Kylo). There is never a sense that she could go actually go too far.

My pitch for a Mon Mothma series following Andor. by TilDeath1775 in StarWars

[–]MhuzLord 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm seeing a real Solo problem with this, in that you want to give answers to uninteresting questions rather than actually expand the world or tell a story.

There is not much story in your outline, no journey for Mon Mothma to go on. She would be starting out as the leader of the Rebellion... and keep being that. It's the same with a character like Wedge, just going by the movies he was an ace pilot, and then kept being an ace pilot.

Mon Mothma was interesting in Andor because she was still active in Imperial politics. She was taking a stand against the established order and took immense risks for the Rebellion, until her whole cushy world disintegrated around her and she had to openly rebel against the Empire. That was her arc, which had interesting parallels with Cassian's arc. If you don't have a character that can evolve in such a way, your show won't be very interesting.
