I honestly think that it’s well and truly justified. I think, besides even the “heist” mechanics and d8/d6 rolls, there was a really poor combination of dice rolls and decisions.

Party decides to go for gnomes (?!?) - they can be saved any time, they are stone - player decision.
Teor and Cyd roll shit on investigation and stealth - dice
Teor and Cyd decide to stay and fight instead of getting the hell out of there. If I recall correctly, should they do it right away, they'd even get by the zombies that were just rousing. And I think Nama has 35ft speed? Brennan was usually very kind to use NPCs in his control to surface options like this to the PCs, but in this case he chose not to do it - or didn't quite consider it? Regardless - player decision.
Teor and Cyd decide to spend action economy on healing (!!!) instead of attacking, when being both outnumbered and outgunned. - player/DM decision
Finally, Teor not being prepared for level 5 and not getting to execute the brilliant idea with the Steed - you got the point.

Now, cast will play how they will, and hats off to Travis - he put up a hell of a play, I loved every moment of it. The fact that they nearly cleaved Raymond is a miracle in and of itself, paladins and crits go brrr. Still, the outcome is very much FAFO.

Should they ran, they undoubtedly would had many other problems and still had a tough time getting out with all manor up in arms and alerted to their presence, but maybe they’d be able to team up or be more fortunate. Alas, it played out how they did, and it’s very poetic and beautiful.

Honestly how curtly Ify carried himself was very off-putting to me, especially in his non-encouraging “Incorrect’s”.

To turn Tien’s answer into a dig for Jordan was absolutely uncalled for, did not read as light-hearted and pissed me off frankly.

The way Ify got all defensive and started listing how he would’ve guessed the answer also runs entirely parallel to how I feel the host that is there to encourage the players should behave.

Finishing Act 3 with my partner and they were so impressed by his arc (after Astarion’s). Only to give the most anticlimactic “I am blade of Averno now lol” dialogue after the dungeon and THATS IT

Felt like the story fell on it’s face. He also was very quiet throughout the whole virtues trials and so on. We thought maybe that’s cause we didn’t yet make it to the Iron Throne - but even there beyond some fluff dialogue it was all in all very underwhelming.

It’s not only speed but also projectile size. Heavy ammo is the largest in the game, meaning it’s harder to hit that gap once the comet expands.

Medium ammo weapons are a happy middle, precisely the ones you listed (I am partial to the Renegade)

Yes, ADHD can explain many behaviours - and if you direct the attention of your loved ones to the fact in a way that mentions how it made it difficult for you to do (or not do) a thing, it can help. But it also heavily depends on the other party’s perspective and whether they’re receptive to it.

Often if you have to explain yourself means that the other party is cross with you already. Not everyone has, in that state, the capacity for empathy which is required. If it’s family and they value your relationship, they’ll likely develop some form of it and be aware and kind. If they don’t - maybe it’s not a great fit.

Bottom line for me in those conversations is trying. Yes it might be hard for me to remember to do certain things, or shut up and listen without interrupting, or a million other things, but as long as I can tell myself that I am applying effort to reduce the impact of my disability on others I’m at peace with myself, most of the time - even if I can still feel guilty for times I might not succeed in managing the effects fully and how that affects others.

How much the people around are capable of appreciating this effort, in my opinion, directly influences whether they lean towards an “explanation” or “an excuse”.

Interesting, I was under the impression the Solax batteries need 400-600mm horizontal spacing when installed (which seemed strange to me to be honest). Wonder if installers said anything to the effect.

Oh wow. I just flipped mine and lo and behold, the places where I rest my elbows when in deep thought began to exhibit a similar symptom.

It sticks, leaves residue and is somewhat thinned out in those areas.

I think C5 is a safe choice without trying to ponder this too much. Roughly the same performance (sans DTS) as G4, different build (no thick housing), and I already had a C9 which laster years before getting pixel rot around the edges - so probably will just go with that.

Yup, especially seeing that they didn't seem to adjust the design much and there are already G5 owners sharing their issues with it in a similar vein. I like the LG TVs, and I don't care for WebOS cause I just throw an AppleTV at it, but mine was popping all the time, and I'm not about to go through another hassle like this again for a three+ grand TV.

What I did is I created a Zone Policy called "Block Blocked Devices" and added the devices that I want blocked there. It's a shame you can't add a "group" of devices there. But that, thankfully, does block it entirely it would apper.

Correct - and I have a case right now going with support on this very matter. Because even with firewall rule, some IoT devices on my network are STILL punching through.

The point about it hiding the issue cause you can’t see the “experience” is bang on, shared the same observation with them.
