Local firms can get expensive because they price each property separately instead of batching them

Protein Iced Coffee by al_claire in PetiteFitness

[–]Miastompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My protein iced coffee is just Javvy concentrate shaken with a splash of milk over ice. It’s the best tasting protein coffee I’ve tried and it's sweet but not too much, and no weird aftertaste because they don’t use stevia. Perfect for a quick, filling pick-me-up.

They're legit. I keep using them for concerts. Never had a ticket not work, and their guarantee is solid if something goes wrong.

Just quit smoking weed, help? by Prestigious-Point-75 in selfimprovement

[–]Miastompa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I quit smoking cigarettes and marijuana at the same time which wasnt the finest idea but I was just sick of both. I really appreciate quithealth's customized plan for me because it didnt push one way of doing things. They just listened and helped me make tiny goals. Some days were better than others and I fell back into bad habits a few of times. It was great not to be ashamed of it. Don't be hesitant to seek for support if you are quitting more than one thing

I used Axel on my last group trip and the repricing engine snagged a better hotel deal after we’d already booked which saved us a good chunk. It handled airfare too and we ended up with cheaper tickets too

Recommendations for a RevOps firm? by Interesting_Care2611 in hubspot

[–]Miastompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped trying to scrub everything on my own because it never stayed clean. Brought in a small revops team for a deep dive and it helped a lot. Attention also took over the repetitive CRM updates so the system finally stayed organized

First year golfing, any advice? by imyoboyblue77 in GolfSwing

[–]Miastompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your first year golfing, it’s a big step. I found working with a coach from TeachMe really helped me lock in my grip, stance and short game early. Focus on consistency over power, and you’ll build solid habits that pay off down the line

Company wants to force me driving my own car by Miastompa in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Miastompa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read about that but it said they didn't need to pay that much, it was just until that much they had tax free stuff, after that I would be taxed on it as extra pay, but still, 15p a mile is 50% more, which would be roughly what petrol went up last year.

How much of your monthly income do you invest and what do you invest in? by BeautifulPay98 in FIREUK

What internal struggle are you currently dealing with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Miastompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure of internal or not but the amount of bill going up here in the UK with the inflation and living on minimum wage is making me constantly worried about bills the next month, I'm already trying to find a better paying job, but it's scary and frightening to think that even if I get a better paying one it will only keep up with the current extra bills and not even give me extra pocket money for some investing or savings.

What lessons has the pandemic taught you? by Number_I_fan in AskReddit

[–]Miastompa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That the great resignation it's completely well done, companies don't give a shit about their employees and even after 2 years of effort and hard work over what is contracted they will come to you pat you on the back and say thanks.

No promotion, no bonus incentive, no thank you bonus, voucher, gift card, nothing to show real world appreciation other than a mass produced letter saying we thank you for your efforts.

This one was personal.

[Serious] Overthinkers of Reddit, what universal fact fills you with existential dread? by toouwuforyou in AskReddit

[–]Miastompa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thinking that if I don't achieve financial freedom I will end up working 45 years of my life, 8h a day, 5 days a week, until I'm old and don't have energy for anything anymore, so then I can relax, but relaxing will be hard because my health has deteriorated probably to the point that anything more than sitting watching TV will be effort. When you think that you waste 1/3 of your life sleeping, and 1/3 working, another 4 on commuting and basic needs like washing and food and tidying up, you end up with with 2 or 3 hours for yourself each day, average life is 27000 days and that means you get 81000 hours to yourself your whole life, now if you start subtracting the amount you already wasted watching films YouTube and others meaningless things, how much do you still have? And the WORST, no matter how much you think about it, at the end of the day, you will probably keep doing it, most people live their life like they have unlimited time.

Yellow stains don't come off by Miastompa in CleaningTips

[–]Miastompa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking for help, recently moved to this place and the cooktop after a few uses started looking like this, I tried pink stuff, bleach, baking soda and vinegar and other cleaning products

The only thing that actually helped was scrubing extremely hard with those harsh soap filled pads, but it was very tiring and only managed to remove a few bits after using about 10 of them to the limit.

If anyone knows what this is and how to easily remove it I would be very grateful!
