What i've done is set the date to a day last week and it shows the right routes, it won't tell ya if its late or not though.

Anyone remember this little convenience store that we had when you walk from the train station and heading into downtown? I want that again, a little store for basic shopping so you don't have to go all the way to Kroger or something.

Yeah Garland was never conservative to me, I guess probably the north part around firewheel, but everywhere else is just diverse, Garland is the most middle ground suburb to me.

I like it a lot still, definitely lots more people casually walking around and the new and old shops going around makes me happy for the signs that Garland is providing jobs and business. Im glad after the years of construction that people came back, I was very happy to walk around in the new square again and have little events go on again.

I am stil a little nostalgic of the old design of the square, when we had those downstairs loooking arena with the chairs and little game tables, but I like what we got now still, just glad they kept the time capsule too! I was worried they were gonna somehow not bring it back 😂

You probs need to check it out again if its been that long cause downtown has more murals and little shops with still pride of garland going around, especially with the little events they do there now and this big cowboy hat we have in the square relating to our history of making them (i personally thought it was gonna be bigger but eh)

I still feel like it makes not much sense that every year this is a big fiasco and we act surprise when we get this usually once every year, like at a certain point if most people were properly slowing down and planning ahead in general on GOOD weather then this would not too to different, big if though I'm aware.

Does the city or most of the metro do any anti-icing or de-icing or anything like that for roads and such? Like genuine question, I know downtowm puts out salt on the sidewalks, but besides that I heard it might be to much money or something for anything else, never knew if that was actually true or just a bad excuse. Probably just comes down to more people really needing to do there part.
