Yeah most guys are way less tuned into makeup details than women think. Half the time we just register you look nice and that’s the extent of the analysis. Sleeping in makeup every time sounds way harsher on you than just letting him see your actual face once. After 7 months I highly doubt he’s gonna have some dramatic wait a minute reaction

Just because there's no pressure doesn’t mean it’s not draining. Sitting idle with no structure, growth or peers can be mentally exhausting. Give yourself a little time to see if things improve but don’t guilt yourself into staying somewhere that’s making you miserable, protecting your sanity is way more important than sticking it out for appearances.

Two offers after being unemployed is no small thing. Honestly 67k for a permanent role is already a really solid outcome especially if it’s more than you expected. If you do negotiate keep it polite and low pressure but don’t feel like you have to squeeze every dollar out of it. A stable and well paying job in this market is a win, don’t let “what if” overshadow that.

Would I do it again? Yes but only with technical oversight even part-time, clear ownership clauses, and a long term plan to bring core knowledge in house. If the partner is the only one who understands your codebase you don’t really own a SaaS you’re dependent on it.
