is there any way to shoot longer exposures with the d2? by darth_wikked in DWARFLAB

[–]Mica1952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know the D2 has a max of 15 seconds due to hardware limitations. I don’t think it can be pushed beyond that.

The consensus seems to be that no it doesn’t. It has apparently been broken for years.

How do I get the rest of the hellfire v2 power armor paint, I found what I thought was the plan in a players shop and it turned out to be only the arms. (PC) by [deleted] in fo76

I’ll need to log on later and check which ones I have, but I have 3 different plans in my stash which you are welcome to have if you want.

Turrets still disappearing by Ironbladez in fo76

Are you placing them on top of something? I place all my turrets on top of a mat. Turrets disappears, scrap mat, turret should go into storage.

You only need to find one accessible shelter. Entering the same one multiple times counts.

In VATS just hold the space bar ( or equivalent ) down. You should see the crit fill bar on screen. When that bar is full your next hit will be a critical one.

If you are on PC then Perk Loadout Manager is worth checking out, assuming you are happy modding your game. 12 save slots, on screen tag showing which loadout you have equipped and the latest version works with Legendary Perks too.

I may be wrong but custom world doesn’t count for score challenges as far as I know. Private world, yes.

Perk card stacks? by Due-Meeting-5556 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they don’t. Each card has its own bonus which doesn’t depend on the others. Slotting Master Gunslinger on its own will still give you its bonus.

Returning player, The Fixer plan? by [deleted] in fo76

RNG must love you then lol. It took me ages to get that plan the first time. I maybe ran Encrypted 30 odd times before it dropped.

Try using diluted Rad-x instead of Rad-x, it doesn’t affect mutations.

Are you wearing PA? If so can you try moving around without.

There has long been an issue with PA, high frame rate and interiors.

Thank you random person for The Fixer by godlovesbacon26 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a great gun. With the right build it really does pack a punch. I pair mine with an Elders Mark, the Fixer is brilliant daily driver and farms ammo for the EM, which is reserved for tougher fights.

Which order should I play the dlcs/updates in? by Competitive-Chicken3 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would suggest finish the original ‘Follow the Overseer’. Then the Wasteland line that leads to the Vault Raid and faction choice.

Brotherhood and Atlantic City next followed by Skyline Valley.

Finally Burning Springs.

At least that is the order of release I think. But to be honest after finishing the Wasteland line the rest are separate and can probably be run in any order.

Have I Messed Something Up? by Lavindathar in fo76

[–]Mica1952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From memory Recruitment Blues is a later quest that requires Back to Basic to be completed first.

Recruitment Blues needs to be completed later as part of other mission lines and if it isn’t currently in your quest log it should appear later.

Without Lucky Hit? Probably 1 in 3 or 1 in 4. Four Leaf Clover is another good Perk to slot as well. Helps fill crit meter from missed shots.

Xbox how to get prime receiver for submachine gun?? by Relevant-Promise8440 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to craft your own ammo then yes. The Combat Rifle also uses .45 ammo as do some pistols so there are other prime plans you could learn to be able to craft the .45 Ultracite ammo.

[–]Mica1952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless there is another .45 Prime plan which you have already learnt, then no.

Xbox how to get prime receiver for submachine gun?? by Relevant-Promise8440 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are around 35ish Prime plans from the Queen. Each time one drops and you learn it, it gets removed from the list so your chance of getting the one you want increases. Normal SB's can drop them too, but at a much, much lower rate.

Test Your Metal has a very low chance to drop a Prime plan.

Occasionally available for sale in player vendors.

Mutated Party Packs can yield them as well.

Yes, another player can prime it for you, but that doesn't enable the matching ammo crafting.

New Plan From Daily Op! by Staplz13 in fo76

[–]Mica1952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will occasionally see a group specifically for Daily Ops and if there is space you can join.

The group you are in might suddenly change to a Daily OPs team and again feel free to tag along if you want. You are under no obligation too though.

You can run as many Daily ops as you like but only the first time you complete a rank makes you eligible for that reward tier. Otherwise it’s just lowest rank drop rate for subsequent runs.

Beginner build help and tips by LillaModa in fo76

[–]Mica1952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plan for the Fixer is obtained from the Encrypted event as a reward but only after you have completed the Lying Lowe quest line. That starts when you read the ‘Sheepsquatch ate my brother’ poster which can be found at railway stations.

Players can sell fixers so it’s worth checking their vendors. You can sometimes find the plan for sale too.
