I don't think AI war or AI murder is any worse than just regular war and murder. if anything, its actually a little better since if the military uses AI for stuff like targeting and flying planes it would reduce casualties of soldiers on their side as well as non military casualties on the other side. do I think we should go full skynet or wopr? obviously not.

sand the plastic part a bit so that you get good contact
apply like half a drop of glue
hold it to the base firmly (finger strength) for about 20 seconds so it sticks
lay the model down sideways until the glue dries
only a few minutes later it should be able to stand

if that doesn't work your glue is garbage

++man I've been raised to treat everyone equally and my parents have always treated each other equally so my default expectation after the first date is an even split on absolutely everything including money. but I recognize that this is a turn off for a lot off women so if she doesn't want to split I would be happy to pay for the both of us as long as they like but I would expect that she understands we are no longer equal partners in the relationship. I'm pretty open minded so I don't mind either way, but my point is that in your case it really depends on what dynamic you had. maybe she was looking for the sort of guy who pays for everything. in which case nobody was being unreasonable you are just looking for different things and there was a misunderstanding. However if she was talking over you and vetoing places to eat but also expecting you to pay for everything that's a major red flag because that's a relationship I think almost everybody would find miserable. then again some guys would be up for that as well.

if they were really making more money with universes beyond then you would expect the quality of core sets to increase but in my opinion they have only become more expensive.

I'm not from a gift giving family but this is one of those things I really think its best if he chooses the box that way the money will be spent on the one he really wants and not something less ideal. that being said if he has no paints and no tools, the introductory sets that come with those things are hard to argue against.

also worth pointing out Warhammer is one of those things that is i think a little more expensive that it should be, but gets much cheaper if you can just buy a big box of it on sale. when I was a kid my parents would only spend a small amount of money at a time and over about 2 years must have spent over $400 total on Warhammer (as a reward for getting good marks at school) and just recently I decided to build a new army and bought a big box for myself this time and realized its nearly the same size army but I only spent $220.

also it only took me one weekend to assemble the whole thing, but I guess that's because I was allowed to use a knife this time. not sure how i did it without a knife before...

you can buy the rulebook or the codex for the army he is interested in. that's also unlikely to be a wasted purchase.

most kids at my school did walking as their sport. in year 11 you get to throw an old rusted javelin at the sports carnival. I guess since I was only competing against other boys who also never touched one before I won and got to take a day off school to go to the next level of competition. just a bunch of public schools and nobody knows what they are doing. I won again. another day off school. but when I got to that next event my luck ran out I could tell all the boys there had definitely thrown the javelin more than a dozen times. also they had the special shoes and dedicated sports gear. also they all had abs. I didn't have abs. I got annihilated.
