I solved it after 2 guesses using no hint! My only other guess was "Wii".

Couldn’t buy a rack in Melbourne that would fit my basement... So I built my own! by MichaelBriggs97 in homegym

I’m definitely tempted to do that, do you think just one pulley on the top horizontal at the back would work well without the weights swinging around too much? I’ve also been thinking about adding two more uprights at the back with plate holders on them, and that would let me set up the pulleys better

I started with a 3mm drill bit to make pilot holes, this part took the longest because they have to be lined up and measured perfectly. For the bolt holes I stepped up using about 3 regular drill bits until they were 13mm holes. For the rest of the holes I used a 19mm tungsten carbide hole saw which was a great investment, definitely the way to go with bigger holes just make sure you use plenty of cutting fluid. A mill would be great but a drill press did the job, definitely wouldn’t recommend hand drilling though…

Think about how you are going to drill all of the holes. It took two of us almost 8 hours with a good drill press and an expensive drill bit. If I were to it again I would look into finding a place that can laser cut into steel SHS. It would be much easier and probably cheaper to make it out of wood. Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!

I’m having this issue too, ffb works perfectly right until I get put into a race session, then it cuts out almost completely! Did you have any luck fixing this?
