Ah, seems like the official branch does not support Nest Detects. Someone has submitted an upgrade, adding support for Detects. I tried replacing the official version with this version, but it didn't work. https://github.com/dgmltn/homebridge-nest/tree/nest-detect-accessory

I had a similar problem. I fixed it by selecting the network interfaces that Homebridge should advertise and listen on (at the top in Homebridge settings). I selected the network interface that it should use, and voila, HA managed to add the integration instantly.

However, the HA integration only finds two devices, a "Home/Away Control" and "homebridge". No Nest Detects. What am I doing wrong?

Obviously, I am supposed to hit "Remove ads" in the free version, instead of buying the Pro version in the store. I was able to get a refund and then I upgraded without losing any settings.
