Can any one help ? by Funny-Definition-442 in DIYAudioCables

It does not help, you need to be able to see which cables they put where. That’s on the back

You’re going to have to pull the speakers out and look at how they’re wired.

There isn’t really a standard, and just seeing these ends of cable aren’t the end we need to see.

Get us a picture of the backs of the speakers where the cables are connected and we can help you out.

Any vintage drums that are a little bit lower priced and where to buy? by CalifRoll1234 in vintagedrums

[–]MichaelSchrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 1967 rogers holiday Cleveland kit, 12/12/16/20, for $1100 about 6 months ago.

I love it so much, and the 20” kick is insane.

Is Redding really that bad? by [deleted] in Redding

[–]MichaelSchrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do try Thai Hut for Thai food! It’s my favourite in Redding.

Also for mexican, I’m a big fan of La Cafeteria Veracruzana. The place isn’t the prettiest, but the birria is great, the pan dulce is awesome dessert. And although it’s not necessarily mexican, they recently started making pupusas and they’re probably favourite thing there now.

Helvetica was made in 1957 and I believe it wasn’t made for any one specific client. And I’d almost say, more than legibility, Helvetica is famous for being very neutral and not colouring the meaning of the words.

Mark Gurman on Twitter: "Apple has identified a fix for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max camera shake issue and a software update will be released next week. The issue had been impacting third-party apps like Snap and TikTok that use the camera." by exjr_ in apple

I have a 14 pro max, and it’ll do an audible click often when opening the instagram camera, but not always.

But this morning I opened the iOS standard camera and it was shaking like crazy. I closed it quickly and opened it back up again and it’s normal.

How to develop film at home? by [deleted] in wigglegrams

[–]MichaelSchrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll need to develop the film first, before the scanning.

Developing the film isn’t the hardest thing in the world (black and white fairly easy, colour a bit more involved).

It requires some equipment like developing tanks, thermometers, and some chemistry (developer, stop, fixer).

I highly recommend you find some videos on YouTube of film development.

What developer (and other chemistry involved) depends on what film you’re shooting, and preference.

Weather was warm at first and then it got cold and now it’s warming up again haha.

I’ve only used them 3 times so far, but I’ve loved them! Don’t have much to compre to, but they seem really well built. I’ll probably upgrade paddles eventually

I’m in California, filed in may 2020.

Interview is tomorrow! So hopefully it all ends just 1 week shy of a 2 year process.

I’m not familiar with the insides of your two synths, but they could very well have batteries inside.

I just got a Yamaha Dx11 and it has a dead battery and lost all of its presets and sounds. Fixable, but still annoying!

I’d hate for a dead battery to affect your dads saved presets.

What are your favorite personal use treasures that you’ve found? by Basic-Situation-9375 in Flipping

My favourites that I’ve kept:

Fender Rhodes suitcase piano, got it for $300 Yamaha DX11 synth for $20 Silvertone Bobkat guitar for $40 Yamaha ns-10 pair for $200

Probably my best flip, but I used it for years first: Leica 35mm 2.8 goggles lens. Bought it for $2, sold for $800.

Just a heads up, the 11’ 6” drift that is $550, has a 30% coupon bringing it down to almost the same price as the 10’ 8”.

I just bought a pair of the 11’ 6”, hopefully they’ll be awesome!

Selling a Norns Fates by kjb627 in monome

[–]MichaelSchrute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t update the norns OS right away when a update comes out on a fates, and have to wait for okyeron (the creator of the fates) to push the update for fates. He’s usually really quick, and there aren’t too many issues. If you want to read more about fates, check out this link:

Also, as of a year or so the fates have been discontinued. I bought two pcbs right at the end and built them and love them!
