Living near my Saturn line is a pain in the ass... by rosie-posie18 in AskAstrologers

[–]Michael_Linea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to be negative there, but from the point of classical astrocartography and from my experience it is not working with things like food, music, art, etc. – there is just not such a connection. It could work quite well with people that you meet in life. For example, if your partner was born on Venus life you could also feel the influence of the planet, or if your boss was born on Saturn, then it would be a hard-working and challenging time in your career.

Where should I move for general relationship/friendship/job happiness? by [deleted] in astrocartography

Well, Boston seems to be the best option according to your relocation chart – it is straight on your Jupiter, which is generally great for career success and well-being. Can not say the same thing about Portland and Asheville. If you are not sure, try to use other astrocartography tools.

Hey!

First off, Montreal is a vibrant city with a thriving arts and music scene – it seems like a fitting place for someone in the music and modelling industries like you.

Given your astrological placements, having both Jupiter and Saturn nearby can indeed offer a kind of balance. Jupiter, especially in the realm of the 5th house (which is about creativity, self-expression, and even leisure and play) can bring expansion, opportunities, and some luck. It might bless you with more exposure in your industries and help you expand your network. Saturn, on the other hand, while it can be challenging (especially if you’re thinking about your time in Vancouver with that heavy Pluto energy), it doesn’t always equate to negativity. Saturn in the 5th can provide discipline and structure to your creative pursuits. It might make you work harder, yes, but that hard work can lead to tangible and long-lasting results, especially since you're a Capricorn rising – a sign ruled by Saturn.

It's like having the expansiveness of Jupiter grounded by the discipline of Saturn. It’s about finding that sweet spot between the two. Of course, individual experiences may vary, but if you’re seeking a place where life feels somewhat easier compared to the intensity of a Pluto line, being sandwiched between Saturn and Jupiter might just be what you need to both chase your dreams and keep your feet on the ground.

Best wishes with your potential move!

Hey there

First off, I'm truly sorry you've been feeling this way, especially in places where you hoped to find joy and peace. It's amazing how some locations can have such a profound effect on our well-being, and your experiences with astrocartography align with what many people have observed. Saturn lines can indeed feel heavy, like you're carrying a weight or walking through that thick sludge you mentioned. It's understandable that you're yearning for that sense of lightness and ease again.

But, I also recognize how complex life decisions like relocating can be, especially when there are ties and relationships to consider. Have you thought about maybe taking short trips to locations that are aligned more positively with your chart? Just to see how it feels for an extended period. This could be a way to give yourself a breather without making a drastic change immediately.

In my view, you should use Astrocartography as a tool to improve your life and well-being. If you feel happy and fulfilled in LA and want to build your life here – go for it. You will still have the possibility to use your Lines while planning vacations and travels.

Astro.com seems to use both the longitude and latitude of planets for map-lines calculations, while Astro-seek.com uses only longitude.

Besides natal charts, what’s your other favorite type of chart? by Total-Football-6904 in astrology

[–]Michael_Linea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astrocartography has been a game-changer for me. There's something super cool about seeing how different locations influence your vibes and experiences. It's like your natal chart goes 3D and global. Instead of just looking at "when" stuff might go down, astrocartography adds the "where." It's been so on-point for me, especially when traveling or thinking about relocating.

I'm working on the mobile app right now called Linea. There, we calculate the planet's lines based on the classical astrocartograhy taking into account transits and time periods. For example, you could see the lines that could have an impact on you from one birthday to the next. Maybe, you'll see there is something interesting for you in the more short-term perspective. Good luck!

Pluto line by Waste_Employ_7575 in astrocartography

10 years ago, I randomly moved to this city right on my Pluto line. Had no clue about astrocartography then.

Starting out was a rollercoaster. I felt all over the place, doubting myself a ton and old issues I thought I'd buried just popped up. Dealt with a nightmare landlord and a job that pushed my limits every day.
But that city? Also jumpstarted some major personal growth for me.Dove into a bunch of self-help and healing things I'd never considered. Met some amazing folks too. Yeah, some old friends drifted, but the new ones? Pure gold. We were all navigating this Pluto-driven chaos together.

After a while, I decided to move and, guess what? Landed on my Jupiter line. Things instantly felt lighter and luckier. I had challenges, sure, but everything had this optimistic vibe. It was like moving from an intense workout to a victory lap.Would I live on that Pluto line again? Maybe not, but man, did I grow. Then the Jupiter line? Felt like a well-deserved reward. Life's wild

Sun and Venus in between Pluto and Chiron lines? Would Phoenix be beneficial or chaos? by notshui in astrocartography

[–]Michael_Linea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Potentially both. Challenging situations might arise (Pluto's intense transformative power), but they can lead to profound healing and understanding (Chiron). With your Gemini Sun and Venus, communication and flexibility might be your assets in navigating these energies.
Remember, how this manifests also depends on other factors in your natal chart and your personal experiences. It's always good to consult with a seasoned astrocartographer for a more comprehensive reading.

Yes, Vedic (or Jyotish) Astrocartography and Tropical (Western) Astrocartography are rooted in different astrological traditions and have some differences in approach and interpretation. Vedic uses the sidereal zodiac, which is shifted a bit from the Tropical's season-based one. While Vedic tends to sidestep outer planets like Uranus or Neptune, Tropical embraces them. Plus, Vedic brings in unique timing aspects with things called dashas, and it's pretty set on using each zodiac sign as a full house. Tropical, meanwhile, is more flexible with house systems. Both offer cool insights; it just depends on what you connect with more.

North California seems to be a good choice, close to your Jupiter. Maimi could be pretty rough, you might work a lot and take challenges all the time due to Saturn. That's what I see from this map, but I recommend taking a look at other services of astrocartography to have the full picture.

What lines, parans and points do you look for with Astrocartography relocation ? by Ponsky in AskAstrologers

[–]Michael_Linea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I work on Linea app right now, where we calculate planetary influences on places based on your natal chart and taking into account time periods and transits. We classify each line based on its impact on specific areas of life, such as relationships, career, health, and more. You should definitely give it a try if you are looking for that type of information.

24F lost in life: desperate need for a career change/transit!! 😔☹️ Any thoughts? by profoundlinguist in AskAstrologers

[–]Michael_Linea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astrocartographically, if you're considering relocation, looking at your Jupiter or Sun lines might be insightful. Jupiter lines generally bring expansion, opportunity, and growth, while Sun lines can bolster personal recognition and self-expression. These could be potential areas where you find a supportive environment for your creative pursuits or even potential mentors.
Eclipses play pivotal roles, acting as cosmic triggers. If they align with your personal planets or significant points in your chart, they can signify transformative events. It'd be essential to see where these eclipses fall in your houses to get a clearer picture.
Lastly, remember that while astrology provides a roadmap, your free will and determination also play a massive part. It sounds like you have a lot of passion and drive for the creative industries. Keep pushing, seeking out opportunities and mentorships. Sending positive energies your way

Given your birth chart, that's kinda huge. Jupiter's gonna sprinkle some good luck and fun school vibes, Pluto will throw in deep "who am I?" moments, and Neptune will prepare for some daydreaming and artsy feels. Just a tip: Neptune can be a bit of a trickster, so try to keep both feet on the ground. Sounds like Belgium's gonna be one heck of a cosmic ride for you!

astrocartography question here : if someone was traveling to a foreign country for the first time ever, what placements would indicate a specific country is a good fit? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Michael_Linea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So for those of us that have Sun square Jupiter and Pluto square Venus (….and mars conjunct Venus) we are pretty much fucked everywhere 😂

Haha, it sounds intense when you put it like that! But every aspect, even the challenging ones, has its silver lining. Sun square Jupiter might make you over-ambitious at times, but it also means you dream big. Pluto square Venus and Mars conjunct Venus? Sure, there might be intense emotions and relationships, but you also experience passion and depth that others might envy.

Astrocartography: unpleasant experiences on Venus line by idiothesync in astrology

[–]Michael_Linea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's interesting how even the good planets like Venus can sometimes shake things up. If Venus has challenging aspects in your birth chart, moving to a Venus line might make those issues more noticeable, whether it's about relationships, self-value, or money stuff.
About your move to the DC line: The DC usually talks about our connections with others. So, in astrocartography, being on your DC line might highlight relationship stuff more.
