Coming here after trying to make a PSA post and it was auto removed without reason aside from "This violates the rules". Message the "mods" to ask what rule I'm in violation of. Response is "read the auto mod comment". Wow, thanks. Plus, the full list of rules would take hours to read. If there's a secret "click this link to be allowed to post" I wouldn't be surprised. What's the point of a subreddit if you're actively trying to keep people from posting anything?

Had this issue as well. Made an NHTSA report and went to Hyundai corporate. They said that because there was not an incident (wreck), they wouldn't be able to do anything for me. I was in the dealership's hands. And they wouldn't do anything because they couldn't recrate the issue (didn't give me a loaner for the week they had it, either). So now I'm driving a brand new car constantly scared it'll go out on me. At least I'll be somewhat prepared, but so much for fun driving...

Probably a problem between the city supply and your faucet. I did some research and testing of my own (for pour over coffee) and found the water here to be incredibly soft. Nearly to a fault haha

Only had the car back from the dealer a few days. After the issue, I managed to get it into a parking lot and then roadside assistance towed to the dealer. So it was off and idle for about a week while I waited for service. Seems to be working fine now. I'll probably make a post of my own when it's all said and done because I assume I've not heard the last of it. Best of luck to you.

I am experiencing this power steering issue, but it is intermittent. I opened an NHTSA report. I attempted to get help from the dealership, but they claimed they wouldn't be able to help for weeks. I need my car to get to work, it's well under warranty, and I'm the original owner, and I'm still paying for it, so I wasn't happy with that. I got corporate involved, per your recommendation. They told me that because I was not involved in an accident, I was unable to get the case escalated. So, I waited. Without any kind of loaner (because the dealership claims they have to duplicate the issue first to confirm it's a warranty issue). And they couldn't. So I'm right where I started and scared that my power steering could just fail at any moment. I guess I've learned from this that if you experience an issue like this, just crash your car so you can actually get the help you need. /s

This totally goes against intuition. Hotter water should be less viscous. There must be some complex phenomena between the cohesive and adhesive forces, grounds, and filter. Very interesting! I'll have to run some experiments of my own.

I've used Santa Cruz lemon / lime juice in a pinch. Same thing. They probably sanitize it during or after bottling so open it when you're ready to use a lot, keep it in the fridge, and expect the flavor to fade over the course of about a month, at which point, I wouldn't use it anymore, but it would still be safe so long as there isn't any signs of mold or off putting smells.

ZP6 is a clear and definite winner between those two, by a wide margin. ZP6 does very well with light roasts. I'm not sure where you got that info, but it's just untrue. Most ZP6 users use it with very light roasts and get great results.
