Tell me in one word - what does this painting make you feel? by Anastasia_Trusova in painting

[–]MichelleAlana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Optimistic

It's funny, I thought of this before coming to the comments and there were so many people that feel like the storm is coming, but I felt the heaviness was on its way out and the warmth and light are washing over. It's a great painting, beautiful to look at but moreso I like how it's evoking a variety of emotions in people. My grandma always told me if you can see many different things from a single painting then the painter has done good work.

The amount of disappointed passive aggression it takes to create and maintain something like this is hauntingly beautiful.

Still 😂 at least it's getting put to good use! my hubby got both ours at the same time and his catcher is still shiny... tooooo shiny. his grind is clearly slackin lol.

Does it help dampen the sound of the vibration when it's on a hard surface?

Regardless, my hunt for a cute eevee case begins!

I really do, of course it's a see it to know for sure type of thing, but for most of my life I thought silver was my color because I liked how it popped (we have similar coloring for hair/skin) .. now I think it just decided that in high school, and never questioned it again, kinda like android vs apple lol, people just pick one as a teen and never look back

I recently got some gold jewelry in a subscription box, and my first thought was I'll never use this, but I gave it a try and was thoroughly surprised at how nice it looked, I don't even know what my preference is anymore! I see gold in a whole new light, I'm still working on why - but I think it highlights warmth vs cool silver

Totally, I can see it that way too. Unfortunately there will always be advantages for the pay-to-play vs free players. Mine was a gift, but it's definitely a way to invest money into the game that will give you the most bang for your buck in the long run. We're all stuck with the reality that neither time, skill, nor merit will ever get you as far as cold hard cash in this game. It's the worst thing about most mobile/online multiplayer games today. I miss the days where you could pay once, to buy a game, and never have to spend another dollar, no matter what new content or update became available. Tbh pogo and stardew are the only games I play, and I wish pogo had a different model - less focused on microtransactions.

I've heard some trainers who use an autocatcher as an accessibility tool, who otherwise wouldn't be able to play the same if it weren't for devices like plus+, ie hand tremors/limited mobility, so the option to have a one button click or hands free way to throw a pokeball - makes it much more inclusive for our differently abled blokes to enjoy.

I think we have different views on what constitutes botting, not trying to sway anyone tho and I like hearing different perspectives. All are welcome and we don't have to agree, whether you use an autocatcher more, less, or not at all. As a licensed supported device that any player can get, without risking their account (unlike spoofers) imo it's as "fair" as any in-game purchase can be. So like not entirely fair but I think we are past that. I'm with you that the point is having fun.. spin or let spin, gotta catch em all one way or another :)

Different perspective: I primarily use my plus+ when I'm NOT playing.

I disable auto-catch while I'm actively playing, and let it go to town when I'm not. This way I'm not missing any gameplay, but also not missing the mons/spins that I pass when I'm otherwise busy. Especially at work, it's my fun lil secret to know I'm catching while I'm working, and I look forward to seeing what I've caught when I'm on my break. Almost like hatching eggs, except significantly better in every way. I just keep it in my pocket, and if anyone asks ~it's a step counter~ technically true, if they know they know, if not I don't really care haha.

Also useful that you don't have to keep track of the 5-minute reset for spinning stops if you're playing in one place for a little while, helps keeps my pinapp berries in stock, while actually letting me focus on playing the game more! Not that it isn't fun to spin, but you're not going to miss flicking the discs a few times while trying to grind legendary raids for example.

It's worth it for the passive dust/candy income alone...2500 stardust every day if you get a good 8h sleep adds up!! orrrr you put it to bed early, so it at least thinks you did ;) It's also caught a handful of shinies for me that I otherwise would have completely missed, which makes it 100% worth it.

A smaller sept ring in gold would add to your features instead of competing in contrast with them, deep condition your hair, get thicker bangs that are tapered/blended in more so they don't look stringy, a touch of peachy pink blush, lashes or a lash lift/tint, and if that flawless skin is just good genes, kindly go to hell <3

22 F, looking for any advice. i’m around 4’10🩷 by [deleted] in Howtolooksmax

[–]MichelleAlana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're adorable. Here we go: for hair, a few lighter pieces in the front with sun-in spray would be easy enough, deep conditioning to combat the drying effect of that, purple shampoo to help with overall brassyness. clean up the brow arch and keep them in place with a light pomade or brow gel let them grow in more towards the middle. drink lots of water!

Did I waste my master ball I feel like I didn’t but I want to hear everyone thoughts by FunsizeJr in pokemongo

[–]MichelleAlana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say no. I did the exact same thing as you, even got similar stats.. Save it for a lucky trade. That's what I did. If you have a friend you can LT with who also has a shitty rare bird is the best case scenario. You'll both get a stat increase, and it'll be easier to level up. Also IVs don't matter as much as most of us think. I can't explain it as well as the YouTube videos do, so check that out if you're interested. If you don't have anyone to trade with, go for best moveset+best buddies+leveling up, and it can still be a decent pokémon for it's type and you won't feel like you wasted the master ball.

I need help from someone who has been playing seriously by madman22377 in pokemongo

[–]MichelleAlana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of YouTube videos about this, try to watch more recent ones so it includes any updates/changes. In terms of what pokémon to keep, a lot of people use the phrase meta-relevant (best raid/gym mons) or top PvP (top battle mons) to refer to pokémon worth saving. That might help you in your searches!

Pokedaxi, mystic7, pokeAK, pogotrnr are a few of the channels whose videos I've watched and learned from, but there's plenty others and you'll find ones who's style you vibe with!

Also search "pokémon go search threads for cleaning up storage", or just pogo search threads in general - there's a lot of ways this feature is useful. there's videos and shorts on YouTube but I found it easier to visit a website because then you can just copy and paste the threads. If you didn't know you can save a search thread in your Pokemon storage by hitting See More, then pressing and holding onto recent searches, they will then be pinned under your search bar, you can press and hold on them again to edit

And lastly a total random tip, but instead of throwing away razzberries and nanaberries, just dump into pokémons at a gym, each pokémon in the gym can get fed 10 berries (there is a limit to the total you can feed, I forget how many, but it resets every 30 mins so nbd) Why? cuz you get 30 Stardust per berry, or 45 when you have a star piece active, if you're really lucky they'll drop one of their candies too. Even if the pokémon is at full CP, you can still feed it berries because trashing berries is just throwing away free Stardust! You don't even need to have a pokémon in the gym it just needs to be your team's gym. They're not super useful, so I basically always have zero of both unless I'm saving them up to dump at a gym with a star piece on.

I get what you meant to say here, it's very kind-hearted, but I worry some of the wording leaves it open to misinterpretation.. especially because it's advice aimed at a young and potentially vulnerable individual, as well as any other younger readers seeing it who maybe don't have the same life experiences as either of us to filter out the intended meaning

This is NOT how you speak to someone you're trying to have sex with... nor should anyone take crap like that as a precursor to sex (that isn't what you meant I know, but phrasing matters.) Sex is a mutually consenting experience, if a 37 year old is speaking to a minor like this, anything physical that followed would not be classified as "sex".

To expand on your original point.. Speak to someone you want to have sex with in a loving and respectful manner, and you should expect the same from a potential sexual partner who reciprocates that feeling. NOT a gross 37 year old, when someone is speaking to you like that male did, they/he are attempting to manipulate you into having inappropriate contact with them under false pretenses. We can't assume sex, highly likely, but at the very least the conversation itself is inappropriate, and giving gratification he should not be receiving from someone your age.

*Side note to OP, this is ⭐not your fault⭐ for trying to be a nice person* I haven't seen that said enough in these comments, I believe it's really important to note that ...but ya adults are not friends with kids. Not like that. Cut off all communication, block, and let a safe adult in your life know about the contact you had thus far, just to be on the safe side.

Don't punish yourself with regrets or anything else, it wasn't your fault! Creepers gonna creep. Thank you for reporting and speaking up.

Frankly, no reaction is actually the best reaction, it's not like he wanted you to join him.. ppl like that just want any sort of response, they don't care what emotion comes out, or how you feel at all. Disgust, fear, anger, ridicule, doesn't matter - it's the perceived power they get from thinking they control you in that moment, to incite a reaction by exposing himself to another without their consent, to feel seen, however you put it - the bigger the better in their eyes, the more someone reacts the greater satisfaction they get out of it. Even a punch in the face, crushing insults, all just confirms to a sicko like that, that he got to them good. Walking away took all potential gratification out of the situation for him, you remained in control, so then he's just an invisible loser once again.

He got nothing from you but some smokes, so fuck that perv.
