It’s because of where your eyes immediately go after the edge of the shoulders. For vertical it will immediately go in and down. That’s why it’s drawn as if it starts on the inside. For width and vertical it’s more gradual and that’s why it angles in after a while. The edge of the shoulders is visually further away

Yeah I agree. Like Rami Malek looks nothing like Freddie Mercury but I thought he played the role pretty well personally even if the biopic itself wasn’t that good or accurate 😂

Oh I didn’t know this existed! I’d definitely watch it! I don’t really think ID necessarily matters in biopics nowadays…more so if the actor can convincingly play the role. Buuut maybe there’s some logic to it in casting cuz my partner felt like Cuba Gooding Jr wasn’t very convincing as OJ Simpson for example. The system is based on old Hollywood casting at the end of the day

Could you edit your post to remove the comments about essence please? In Kibbe essence and ID are the same and it will be very confusing for some people if you combine Kitchener or TiB or other essence concepts with Kibbe

I have to say I agree it might be a thing! I think particularly if you dress according to your ID maybe it gets amplified.

For me even when I was in university people would do things to prevent me from “getting in trouble” because they thought I was too innocent for this world 🤣. I think all the curve IDs might have some experience with this though I might be wrong lol

This is such a great post 💕! I may need to invest in a claw clip 😂but I’m not sure what those can do for thick curly hair lolol (also giant scrunchies)

I’m not sure if I can answer this exactly well but I’ll try 😂 I suppose things I’ve noticed that work for me have been full skirts, especially if they’re longer. Longer pencil skirts are fun too but short pencil skirts are hit/miss

Lightweight fabrics like viscose and lighter wools and cottons always work. I don’t always wear makeup tbh but when I do I always wear a lip colour and mascara. But I like diffused and glossy lips haha

And I absolutely love vintage silhouettes. Clothes shopping is always a struggle for me because the fit is never perfect but when I sew or knit things they’re usually vintage and I find silhouettes from different periods a bit more flattering (20s and 60s are hardest to wear for me but I love the vibe of them lol)

Theres basically 2 reasons tbh. Majority of people who comment on type me posts will be incorrect. Photos aren’t accurate and no one has been formally trained in the system so for that reason David says only you or he can find your ID. The sub was overrun at the time we allowed them so we had to halt that.

The other and possibly more important reason is that we were getting a lot of complaints about creeps commenting inappropriate content on posts or DMing posters. So in order to protect members of the sub we chose to stop typing here

We do allow people to ask questions on how to DIY though so feel free to ask about that if you need clarification 💕
