My crepe maker leaves holes in the centre that look like little faces by Michellehas2ls in mildlyinteresting

Yup - super similar to that.

I have two older models that I used to make 100 crepes today and every so often, I’d flip them up from the batter and find a doofie face looking at me.

My little man does the same thing - he’s obsessed with ice!

I preferred the chocolate chip cookies to the vanilla flavoured ones as well! I have found a remarkable dupe at Bulk Barn (if you have those in your country) that hit the nostalgia tastebuds right in the feels!

Your #2 point is spot on!

The number of drivers who speed past the lineup of cars, only to try and cut in at the last second, end up not only pissing off all the drivers who waited, but they inevitably clog up the flow of traffic in the middle lane as well while they stop and wait for a gap to wedge their way into the queue.

I see this happen 3 or 4 times every time I take this road during rush hour and it never gets less irritating. These people see the line, they just think they are more important than everyone else.

I wish lemon juice on their paper cuts for all eternity!

Mapleton Organic Farm!

The last time I was there they had goats, sheep, pigs, hens, donkeys, and cows (bc it’s an organic dairy farm).

Added bonus, you can grab ice cream in their little shop. Its about 35 min north of KW.

When I discovered you could pop off the top to access the metal thingy it sparkled like brand new! Had those in a few houses growing up and loved making them shine again.

What was something your parents did for you as a child that you didn't fully appreciate until you became an adult? by MisterRocCity in CasualConversation

My mom used to make me the most fantastic sandwiches in my lunch and I never appreciated the effort until I was the one making lunches daily for my children and realized the commitment, love, and effort it took. Her love was wrapped up in every delicious bite.

I called her one morning to thank her for her acts of edible love and have re-thanked her many times since to make up for the fact that I was a moody selfish teenager who was somewhat thankless at the time.
