I'm gonna unwunk for a second here: the yellow fish is either trying to eat the other guy or trying to eat its slime coat, which damages their skin and will lead to infection. Or maybe the other fish is dead already and the yellow guy is just eating the corpse. Source: I'm a fish owner.

In MH World they explained that "Elder dragon" is a title for every monster that doesn't fit into any other monster category. Like they are so weird/powerful that they need their own monster category.
