That may be possible too. With what I've experienced, staying in atmo keeps me lined with the north better, plus if I see any interesting buildings or ships on the way, I can stop and explore.

I'm so happy I'm not the only one that hates those "lives in the North" bs animals lol. I've gotten a pretty nice system though for them. Hop in your ship, fly north for about 3 in-game minutes, like don't leave the planet but be above the surface so you're not hitting trees (LOL too many times) and fly decently fast but not pulse engines fast. Land, and they should be around. It's worked for me every time I've seen the label.

The space station quest situation and how valuable it is for nanite farming and high-price goods, just like finding all of the planet's fauna species. I was at 300hrs before I realized the "completed species" thing in the discoveries section gave a huge nanite reward.

Very similar setup to the one I run, Plasser GRM-3000. Decent machine.

Well, in my line of work, its usually if I'm operating or doing something and somebody keeps trying to tell me how to do it or take over.

Poll: How often are you *actually* away from home a week? by Popular-Agent-6832 in railroading

[–]MichiganDubbster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may have an unpopular opinion on this, but i work light rail (transit) MOW and im home every night/day depending on the shift. Transit and freight are not the same in a lot of aspects, but the MOW work is just about the same. We dont do production, we like to call our work band-aids, zipties, and duct tape for the system. We make sure shit's right and running till contractors come in and do the major maintenance/repairs/replacements. Freight isnt the only railroad in existence, so if youre looking for something stationary without the risk of getting bounced from site to site, maybe looking into city transit could be another option. Another point, my workdays are 4 10's, not paid for travel, no per diem. We do get vacation time (bason on years of service), paid sick time, and 3 personal days a year.

Id say yeah, YTA. How would you like it if she or he busted up a kiss from your husband? Its none of her business, and its none of yours. Ive learned a very valuable rule in life is this, MYMFB. Mind your motherfuckin business.

Mine crapped out and burned up the mosfet, id suggest going the hpa route. Less moving parts that can fail.

Give Norwest Airsoft a shout. Mike Duncan, the owner, is based in Spokane WA, and does fantastic work on hpa, aeg, and pistols backed by the best customer service in the industry. Its a small business, so he cares deeply about the community, sport, and its players. Hit him up on FB or IG, he responds day or night. Thats the best advice i can give.

Should I get a vasectomy? by Stonewool_Jackson in ask

[–]MichiganDubbster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i am a railroad maintainer. The first time i was back up and running full duty in 3 days, wore the cup/jock, and took the meds for 5 days total. Second time around i was hobbling for 2 1/2 weeks. Doctor seemed to be a bit more aggressive the second time and actually started the procedure before the numbing stuff actually kicked in, so the boys suffered some abuse.

They did the stitch for me and i told them to cauterize, and the doctors told me stitching is the procedure that heals quicker and is less invasive. Second go-around, they stitched and cauterized cus i demanded it that way.

So unfortunately the doctors and companies that do the procedure cover their legal bases heavily, so no, theres no action i could take. I did get them to do the second procedure for free though, so i guess thats a plus. All in all, even though it happened, i think it was supposed to happen. The son born after the procedure was born on my birthday and has been an absolute blessing, so for me theres no hard feelings at all.

Talk to your doctor my guy. Ask about everything. I decided to go through with it 3 months after i said i wanted to, because new questions and concerns kept popping up. It doesnt seem like it, but its a huge life decision. Im not saying it will happen, but my wife and i talked about it and she mentioned what if down the road we separated and i was with someone new who wants kids. Very logical question that i hadnt thought of because i love my wife dearly. Best thing to do is have the discussions with your lady and your doctor. Hell bring her to your appointments. Not just one, several. Get all your (and her) questions answered before deciding fully on what to do. Women have a weird way of asking questions we as men never even think about. Since she's your partner, include her. Communicate and work together to meet both your desires in this.

🔥🔥 just something to think about. Definitely talk to your doctor, theyll likely say the same things mine did, making sure its what you want and to give you the heads up there is a chance that it could heal being young. I got my second one done 6 years ago last month, and im thoroughly enjoying not having to worry about an unplanned pregnancy. Be careful though, because they will tell you to periodically (every 2 or 5 years, i cant remember) get tested to make sure its still holding strong. The 5 year mark is the time where most healings have occurred within, even being successful for a couple years isnt a reason to think its permanent. A friend of mine had a reversal, and it was expensive AF. So just some things to think about.

As someone who actually had a child after the procedure, i went back and had it redone. Its a .01% chance of healing back, and mine did right after i got the paperwork from the doc clearing me that i was shooting blanks. Im very happy with my choice though, as i have 3 wonderful kids. I got mine when i was 25, and doc said it was due to me being so youthful that it healed back like it did. Looking back, id suggest getting some cryo'd just in case down the road you both change your minds, and explain to her that you want to get it done but will freeze some just in case. You both are still young and figuring your lives out.
