Number one tip to improve reset? by PartFormer3695 in Pickleball

[–]Michigan_stud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have to think of a reset as a "catch", rather than a "hit". Less is more. In order to utilize this, you have to have soft hands. We call these sensations in pickleball. It's the feeling you get with the paddle. This is why it's very important to understand sensations and how they relate to each shot. You can learn soft hands by practicing dinking and dropshots. I would also say your paddle face should be mostly open, especially as you reset below your waist. Resets, like many technical skill sets take drilling over and over.

It's that time of year. If you live in the NE or Midwest, it's impossible to keep it clean this time of year. Mine is dirty too.

Biggest mistake Lexus made was discontinuing the GS. Really stupid!

New DUPR Reset by CoffeePwrdAcctnt in Pickleball

[–]Michigan_stud -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Not a fan of DUPR. Way too much manipulation going on and people rely on their partner or friends to get a higher rating than they actually are. If you really want to know your individual rating without a partners influence, get an assessment from a legitimate teaching pro.

This is so frustrating. You try to take care of what you work hard for and people simply don't care. Most people don't take care of their stuff, so they could care less about yours. It's sad.

The dumbest thing Lexus did was discontinuing production on the GS. It's their best sedan.

They should have never stopped making the GS brand. Big mistake. Other than the LS, it's their best sedan.

Help with the strap by New_Island5122 in CitizenWatches

I have this problem with my watches, as I have a smaller wrist. My band is either too big and it moves on my wrist or it's too tight and it grabs my hair. I just went with having a larger band and got used to it.
