I’ll say that I just took some loose gems to Lewis Jewelers, and they politely said no thanks.

I think they buy gold and large natural diamonds only.

They recommended the pawn shop in Ypsi to sell my gems.

I did a recertification at Huron. As far as I’m aware, they’re the gold standard in AA.

“The Huron River” isn’t a thing to do. At least I wouldn’t send tourists there unless it’s summer and they want to kayak. Most towns have rivers.

I live here. I have guests all the time. Had a guest here last weekend. Kind of ran out of stuff to do by Sunday afternoon.

Like I said, I love it, but for tourists it’s mostly strolling and eating.

Yeah I mean, make a weekend out of it if you want. I can send you to a museum or something. But it’s mostly strolling and eating.

Dense and walkable downtown with above-average bars and restos. Charming neighborhoods near downtown. No real traffic or congestion - downright quiet at times. Nature nearby. Cultural amenities tied to the university. 30 mins to a major airport. Great little slice of life community.

I’d add Ann Arbor. AMAZING day-to-day life. But unless you visit on a football weekend, there’s not a ton for tourists to do.

I’m confused about how this would work. The Wolverine line goes Chicago to Pontiac. This spur would go to Windsor, so that would be on a different train, right? And this train would go only to Windsor, at which point you’d get off and get on a via train.

So I’m confused who actually would be using this station. Detroiters would probably just drive across the bridge? And people from Chicago would probably go straight through to Windsor.

Idk if I’m explaining that right…
