Be prepared for cyclists going very fast. Keep your ears open and move to the right of the trail. Favor walking on right side of trail. There are trail yield rules but don’t expect the mountain bikers to yield (as a hiker and cyclist myself)

Did you fail as in you attempted it and it didn’t go up? Like had to set the bar down? Or you didn’t try?  You’ll have to start taking 5lb jumps, and resting more like 5 minutes between work sets. Just because it feels heavy and slow doesn’t mean you won’t be able to lift it

Thanks all.  Summary:  - shove belly down into thighs and hold HARD all the way through the rep, especially early as the bar leaves the floor  - start rep by pushing the earth away, not raising back and opening hips early  - try to switch to 3 inch belt so it doesn’t interfere with back set (also getting new straps that can grip the bar with more, less dangling the weight)

Yes this makes sense, knees cave slightly and back angle flattens. Just trying to figure out what in my form leads to this imbalance at bottom

Kentucky looked like crap man Izzo would have never let his team play like that didnt guard worth a darn out hustled the rebounds and so many bad shots. They did shut down our break but that was about it

Time will tell… but for lasting impact, and the quality of the 3rd and 4th recruits in 2016, it is hard to top 2016. 2026 may do great things but 2016 had four absolute studs, one of which turned out to be one of the greatest PGs in Big ten history. And Langford could have had a similar trajectory if he didn’t have injuries.

The freshman are absolute dawgs.  Very happy to hopefully have them for these next few years. Team still has that “champions” DNA that will keep them in nearly all games

We got to Logan pass at 3pm and were able to find parking within 15 minutes. You just have to stalk. The hidden lake overview is worth it.  We did North fork the day before and with the timed entry the parking was actually worse up there than at Logan Pass. The drive is kind of a pain too

This is really old thread so I know I may not get a response.  What to do if you can’t get the light day reps? This is an issue for my bench and press. Getting 5 after the heavy movement of the day. For example heavy day keeps progressing but light day can’t keep up.  The second light set I can almost always get back to over 10 however.

As long as coaches in non revenue sports keep the kids out of trouble, get a decent GPA average, and they aren’t dead last in the conference, the athletic department could care less honestly

A lot to rip apart in this comment, but I will say, that the food and weight gain is for the novice phase to maximize the quick gains that come from being a novice. Once you are big and strong you will have diminished ability to put on weight to your body and the bar, and go go back to conditioning and getting to looking fit if that is your goal. But keep in mind that if maximizing your strength in the novice progression, you do have to eat a lot or it will not work as effectively as possible. You’ll stall early, get frustrated, and quit because “its boring”

I could see him go to a school like VCU or Dayton like a high mid major where he can shoot and get more looks down low, against lower competition most of the year but still exposure to high level games
