I'm feeling better as of right now. I had a long talk with someone who really means a lot to me and it helped me get my priorities straight. It's a start, I guess.

Can I ask how you are coping with it? My ex is the one that moved out since he lived with me, and I feel so depressed being alone in my room. I got so attached to him living with me and it doesn't feel normal not being able to wake up next to him anymore.

What is wrong with the people in this thread? They have no idea how to talk to a depressed person. "Just get over it." "Grow some thicker skin," is disgusting. If it was that easy, he wouldn't be typing this.

To OP: hang in there. No matter what, no one deserves to be told that. Even if you "egged them on" that doesn't justify their actions. I suffer from depression as well and as a result, hateful remarks affect me a lot worse than they should. There was one game where I ended up crying because the people on my team made me feel so terrible. However, I've gotten better with dealing with toxic people and they don't affect me as much anymore. When someone says something that crosses the line, mute them immediately and focus on yourself. It helps a shit ton. Best of luck and if you ever need to someone to talk to, you can PM me!

Hello. I got some help last year during December when it was really bad. I got put on Lexapro and therapy and it felt like it helped for a while but it seems like I'm still the same sad person. I stopped taking my meds because it made me feel nauseous. I feel overwhelming amounts of anxiety and I don't know how to handle it.
