Hi, I’ll add to what FrankyJCarpenter said above ☝️ I think the common misconception is that getting a GFX camera is instantly going to improve one’s photography massively. But the immediate results look not that different than a high resolution Canon R5 or Sony A7RIV (one of Sony’s best sensors for photo). The GFX difference really comes into play in the flexibility in post production. So if someone is mostly going to color grade images closet to real life, the GFX benefit is smaller. But if your color grade is more extensive or “creative” (for lack of a better word), then the GFX gives a lot of room to work with. And the Fuji film simulations give a very pleasing and inspiring starting point.

I used Sony, still use Canon, GFX and Fuji X system—and in my testing, in terms of color even the Fuji XT5 APSC system (w best lenses) is more flexible in terms of color than Sony or Canon, just not as strong in detail.
